The more compact case fits my work space area better!

I made a great choice by taking this excellent desktop

We haven't had it long but so far works like a charm!

Very limited expansion. I did upgrade: 32 gigs of RAM, I-7 9700 processor, 4 port USB 3.0 ( there are no 3.0 ports on the rear), Nvidia 1030 graphics, Samsung drives 970 2 TB, 870, 2 TB and 1 TB. The 185 watt power supply is very limiting. I expect a lot from my computer and this one has been pretty tough. Pros: reliable, easy to use, pretty quick out of the box, and lightweight. Cons: Limited expandability, difficult to work on, many proprietary parts, cpu fan mounting prohibits additional cooling, runs a little hot, impossible to upgrade power supply. HP does not support adequately with replacement parts (a failed CPU fan trashes the box) and bureaucratic, online only, support.

I like this pc but it started to make loud fan noise after a month and heat up quickly even though I don’t use it everyday.

It is fast and easy to use but I bought brand new Black Friday 2020 and it has crashed on me like 6 times so far

dead. it started up, i went throug setting up a user account, got through the setup, i did a rESTART, comoputer restarted, monitor then said NO SIGNAL (monitor works, it was detecting a NO SIGNAL on the HDMI cable). restarted again, same thing. i POWERED OFF with switch, then back on, computer said (monitor lit up ) discovered windows error, went to recovery, it could not find the problem, exit and go to windows 10, again dead, does not reboot.. just got it 3 hours ago, it is going back for refund tomorrow

The delivery was supposed to come yesterday. It did arrive today with a very unprofessional woman with her music so loud we could hear it in our executive office park from inside the back offices. There was no knock at the door. When I went outside she said don’t move the packages she needed to take pictures. She brought up the other package, left it out side and then left blaring her music. Very unprofessional!

Cursor keeps freezing screen and cannot do anything. I have to shut the whole computer and monitor down and restart later.

Is there any way to put zero stars on this product? This computer is simply the worst computer I have ever bought. It's been 2 days since I bought it and the computer freezes ALL THE TIME for no reason, I've done all kinds of possible troubleshoot / tests and nothing works. I had to reboot many times and it still freezes again. It is not worth spending $ 943.00 on a computer that doesn't work. Best Buy should remove this computer from its product line. Is the best buy customer service not reading these reviews?

have had to call geek squad a few times but overall it nice but if it doesn't stop scrolling on its own i will be returning it

Zero stars really and they require just one. I tried to keep this PC and it just didn't work. The second one failed in the same way as the first, it just hangs. Nothing but a hard reset brings it up and even then it needs to try a few times. When it was working, it was fast. Best Buy was great about exchange and refund.

Issues, issues, issues! I've had nothing but trouble with this since I got it home. Today took the cake. I had to go to Geek Squad online for issues and things not working right. They said the OS was installed wrong and I have to take the computer in to Geek Squad for repair. Very disappointed in this HP. I wish the ASUS I had for over 9 years was still available because this HP is awful.

Had 2/5 of these be dead on arrival. Other 3 have worked for some time without issue.

The keyboard is a joke, the disc drive is a major pain, and every time it comes out of sleep mode it locks up!

This model is not worth the effort to purchase. It kept freezing up and I had to turn it off to unfreeze. I called Best Buy and they said bring it in. They found nothing wrong but I could return. I returned and bought another, same model, because I liked it. The second computer froze up twice before I could even get it set up. Best Buy is difficult to get on phone, unless you have their Geek Protection plan. Wait time is 35 minutes. I went to Office Supply and bought a Lenovo computer. I am pleased with the computer and service.

I really liked the computer. I have had HP computers before. This particular computer started freezing. Trying to get help from HP support was horrible. I tried for a week to get help with no luck. I returned it and got a Dell.

It completely locks up at random intervals and has to be powered down and restarted. Never had it run for more than 4 hours before it happens. HP used to be quality now it's just cheap garbage.

Sound system does not work most of the time. Off/On Switch not convenient / Difficult to operate. CD Player cumbersome / Difficult to load CD's.
