Not sure if it's the computers fault. It was dropped by the delivery boy on our front porch as seen by our RING video camera. The ENVY has been locking up since we bought it Dec. 10th 2020 Had 2 Geek Squad remote fixes. Still locks up. We have an appointment for return and transfer of data for another computer.

The only complaint is this didn’t come with the dongle.

Only one HDMI port. Very large for a current desktop.

Unfortunately my CD drive doesn't work and I didn't discover it until after the warranty. I was mainly using mp3 and wave files so now I'm stuck with no way of having it fixed or looked at without having to pay out of pocket.

this was a return. it failed to meet the performance I was told it would meet. this also has not adequate way to make upgrades so it could. total disappointment

I thought I did enough research on this before buying but I didn’t. It freezes 3-5 times a day and it is a known issue with this model. The first things I read online said it was the mouse driver so I wasted time trying to fix that and missed the return window. Now I’m stuck trying to do a warranty claim with hp. Save yourself a headache and buy a different one.

Had to return 2 different units. Both locked up when sitting idle for a short while. Something not compatible with Microsoft updates, I presume! I guess some future update will solve the issues. Had to buy a different brand.

It does have expansion slots but power supply not not extra power cables to power expansion boards

I purchase 2 of these computers, one for the office and one for home. The office computer after 1 day got a fatal error. The home computer, after using for 30 min - hour freezes up and I have to reboot.

This computer has an intermittent lock that I don't trust. Because it did this on initial start up, I took it back looking for a refund. They took it into the back and said it was batteries in the mouse, which they replaced (we had already done that and even tried it with a different mouse, but the lock ups still occurred) they said it starts and they cannot refund my money. This is a computer that I have NO confidence in and I am still trying to get my money returned. Buyer beware.

I love everything about this computer when it is not freezing up! it just suddenly stops and nothing works. Can't even ctrl-alt-del. I have to unplug the PC to reboot. I have run every diagnostic test HP offers and everything comes back ok. I have only had the computer two weeks. I use this computer for my work and this is not good! I should have gotten the IMac.

The computer looks good, but has problems, it freezes, you have to turn it off and turn it on again to get it to work again

Had to get tech support multiple times when I brought it home, traded it for a Dell

This is a terrible computer. I opened the box, set it up and it froze on me within an hour. It froze two more times on me over the next 3 hours. I am packing this up and returning it. I have been a very loyal HP customer and expected much more than I received with this product. I do not know if I will ever purchase another HP product ever again. I’d give this tower a hard pass if I were you.

Had to return this item for the same problems the other one and two star reviewers had. It would freeze constantly and I would have to force quit way too many times in the 8 times I used it. This is my first time having a problem with HP. I've otherwise always had good luck with the brand. Thank goodness it happened within my return period so I wasn't stuck with such a faulty product!!!

This is the 4th HP I've purchased from Best Buy in 8 months and I've returned three of them, including this one. Had problems with the audio straight out of the box. Would record video and then lose audio halfway through . Would be watching something on youtube and the speakers would start squawking (they were fine on the other computer set up). Not impressed at all.

Had to return defective replaced with new one. Not impressed. Plus only 1 USB Port

I have already returned this computer. It constantly froze, the mouse would stop working, I was doing a hard shut down to unfreeze it at least once a day. Don’t buy this computer.

My computer suddenly got frozen when I was working reviewing the photos that were transferred from iPhone to the computer, which was purchased two days ago on Feb 20, 2021.

Very nice but it keeps locking up. Had to return it.
