It is fast and responsive, however we have been on chat several times and had it in to the Geek Squad for problems. To be honest I am not sure if it is the computer or something else as we purchase a touchscreen monitor and are using a keyboard and mouse we have at the house. The computer kept freezing, this was after 10 minutes of use. Unfortunately the only way to fix it was to turn it off using the power button, which is not the preferred method. After that was resolved the sleep mode became an issue and still is. Geek Squad has worked on it 3 times and I still have the problem and still have to use the power button to turn it off as the keyboard and mouse are not responsive during these episodes. I will be chatting this GS AGAIN concerning this. My old computer was slow, but I never had these issues.

After installation, I was very impressed at the speed of entire system. My old PC had windows 7, and was about 12 years old, so this was a big improvement. Everything is perfect so far.

Lightning quick responses to everything. Lot of ram and operational speed to keep up with handling large photo collection and editing. Two surprises: no disc drive ( my lack of research) and , on set up, there were two English settings to chose from to automatically set up synch new keyboard ( which is a little chinchy) . The first setting sets up bizarro keys which do not respond to the letters you press which locks you out. The second setting ( the lower one on the screen) works like a charm and keyboard synced. Took trial error to get there. One other downer, ether net connection to my older Canon printer would not sync and canons drivers are now unattainable. WiFi connection worked. Sales mgr Kawae in the Best Buy Roosevelt Blvd Phila store was great. Patient,knowledgeable, and helpful person- a real credit to Best Buy .

So far, we really enjoy the computer. The sales team at Best Buy and the Geek Squad helped us get the computer set up and running to our taste. Computer is super fast with a nice clean look.

Great inexpensive desktop I use for my business. Everything opens and runs quickly and can handle multiple monitors. Lots of USB ports for connecting devices. Definitely recommend.

Happy with it so far. Looking for new desktop computer at Best Buy. All in stock were I5. Stumbled across this I7 on open box shelf. Specs were pretty much what I was looking for. Disk drive is a little small but everything else was ok. Leery of open box items. This was Geek Squad certified, so I took a chance. Computer is nice and quiet. Can’t even hear it running. Came with cd-dvd read-writer. 16 gig ram so it’s fast. Easy connecting to my network and printer. Open box price was not discounted much. Still a lot of computer.

Sleek and powerful, top to bottom a star performer for a desktop. I added a 5TB external drive and a HP 32" HD monitor, great replacement for the long lasting HP desktop I had before.

I love this HP ENVY desktop i7 - 16 GB memory. It works well; it's a nice fast computer. I am not a gamer, and this computer does everything I wanted. The USB ports fit my requirements.

It is an excellent computer. I know people would of laughed at me. I took the tower out of the box and then realized it was upside down. Then I couldn't figure out why there was a keyboard error. I forgot to use the USB plug in for the keyboard and mouse. I had an old USB keyboard. Once it dawned on me to look for that device to make the keyboard work. I didn't find the manual to set it up till later. My only complaint is that Microsoft wants to force you to use Microsoft edge. I wouldn't use internet explorer even if you paid me to use it. I finally got it going with all my stuff and course it runs faster than my old Pentium 4 computer I had been using since 2010.

HP Envy has a great look on my desk. The Intel Core i7 is fast. Has 4 USB ports in the front and 4 in the back. Also, a mini port and SD card. I am very pleased with my purchase.

So far so good, i wanted a computer for music production and this can handle anything thrown at it so far. It is also a very quiet computer tower which i love for recording.

Easy to set up, fast, and just what I was looking for as a base for gradual upgrades over time. Good for school and gaming. Has space for a decent graphics card.

Easy to setup. Very fast. I really the wireless keyboard and mouse. Nice looking tower. A bit expensive, but you pay for higher performance processor (which supports faster WIFI).

We got this computer for our daughter, she is 16 and is doing dual enrollment, school and college. Computer is super fast and reliable for school chores.

Fastest computer I’ve ever owned. Powers up in just a few seconds. Works well for photo editing. Not the best for RAW photo files though. Overall, really happy with it.

I am very happy with the easy set up and performance with this purchase. It is mostly used for photo editing and the response and speed are more than adequate.

So far so good. This machine is used for data work. The I7 has no trouble with large data base management in Excel and Sql. Quick boot and a decent sized SSD.

Enjoying my new desktop computer. Glad to find one with faster processing speeds and more memory than the old one. Also glad to find one with a cd slot, as I like to be able to easily upload a cd into my iTunes library or use (old) game cds on the computer. My one issue is that there is a setting glitch that keeps showing me the updates available multiple times (like once an hour) when there are no updates. I have to figure out how to configure that setting. Also loving the cordless mouse and keyboard as it gives freer movement on my desk and I can move things around.

This replaced a very old machine with windows 7. I can't believe how fast this thing is. The SSD drive really makes a difference. Very happy with this purchase.

The machine is very quiet and fast. It has many ports for plugging in additional peripherals. Works great for all that I am using it for.
