I had several instances that it would not power on. When it was having a power on issue it also did not recognize that it was plugged in. None of the lights would show that it was plugged in and/or charging. After a while it would randomly come on. The last time it came on for me I reset it to factory settings and returned it to the store.

Faulty Wi-Fi Adapter

However, after starting the laptop for the first time, I could not connect to internet. After much troubleshooting, discovered it was a faulty Wi-Fi adapter. Hoping it was a dud, I exchanged the faulty laptop for another, only to receive the same results within 24 hours of set-up. Knowing how unreliable the hardware is, I will not be buying an HP.

Needlessly to say it failed horribly. The first trip the Geek squad repaired it to work well. 2 weeks later it crashed with little warning. The unit was unable to be repaired. I lost a great deal of information. The unit had to be finally replaced.

NO Photos transferred I get way too many emails bounce backs - email was not set up correctly. The screen goes "DARK" throughout the day for 3-5 seconds, then comes back on.
