The system reaches the full desktop from a cold start within seconds, thanks to the SSD drive. Applications and games load quickly, and the system is very responsive when using high resource consuming applications (opening files, saving changes, editing images/video etc.) or playing games. I never experienced latency, even during resource intensive tasks; such as playing fast-paced HD games or working with 4k video in real-time.
