I researched online found the best deal for my budget and purchased a fabulous HP Laptop of which I am writing this review! It works brilliantly and I have yet to figure out all the little perks of my much newer toy, but I will.

I was looking for a workhorse laptop to replace a 6 year old laptop that I use for a PC support business. This laptop filled the requirement perfectly. There were some setup issues at first - missing hardware driver, some OS configuration issues, but nothing that I couldn't solve with a little effort. I'm very happy with the overall product, and I liked the $ savings by buying refurbished!

I quite like my new laptop. It works well and I've had few problems. It does tend to overheat a lot quicker than my old laptop and the WiFi connection drops often if it isn't plugged in but I like the placement and design of the power cord better than my previous laptop (Lenovo). It was a good deal.

Great lower end laptop for today's student. For the dollar, the bells and whistles are sufficient and the speed and power actually surprised me. Plastic case feels a bit thinner than I would have hoped - otherwise a 5 star machine

Laptop is OK (large HD, bright screen) but has several liabilities: the Realtek WiFi driver/software is incompatible with several Modems/WiFi devices used by internet cafes & home service; the keyboard has latency/glitchy/slow speed problems; the Windows 8.1 freezes up & one must reboot regularly; when browsing via browsers, the screen will often switch to different sizing (e.g. 100% to 50%) or sidebars/popup windows will often appear unsolicitedly; when in wordprocessing, the screen will spontaneously resize itself & popup windows will appear unsolicitedly (save your WP text frequently, because Windows 8.1 & WP will freeze - requiring rebooting); if those annoying problems & glitches were eliminated, this HP laptop would really be a "best buy."

Got this computer mainly to download pictures & music to from my phone in case something happens to the phone. So far so good. the windows 8 takes some getting used to The last computers I was on were windows vista & 7. It is taking time to figure out all the changes.

wonderful laptop for my daughter. She loved it alot. It was easy for her to start using right away. Love how user friendly it is for anyone. I would recommend for anyone buying a laptop for their child whether they are in elementary school or colledge.

When I received my refurbished HP Laptop, I thought it was brand new. It was beautiful. I have not had any problems at all. It's fast and the programs that were pre-loaded were great. I also saved about $200.00 ,that is a significant amount of money. When the time comes to replace this laptop I will be purchasing another refurbished HP. I am thrilled with this purchase, and would strongly recommend if your thinking about buying a refurbished item, go ahead and take the leap. You won't be sorry.

Good computer for the price. Bought this computer for my 12 year old and if she can't destroy it no one can.

This computer works great. Even though it is refurbished it looks and works like a new computer. I have been using it for a month with no problems. The new windows takes a little while to get used to, but it has some nice features. I use it mainly for school related tasks, online classes and writing reports, and I could not ask for a better computer. It is a great deal and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive reliable computer.

This refurbished laptop looks like new and performs very well. I don't like Windows 8 but there's no getting around it these days. Nice machine otherwise and I'm pleased with the purchase,

This computer has A GREAT PRICE but for about $100 more I could have twice the processor speed in a different brand with only a 500 gb Hard Drive...or so it seemed. Preferred the Sony over this laptop

Purchased for son in college. Good stable laptop. Fast enough for the work he does in college. A bit plastic, but this makes it light weight and he is very satisfied with the weight, look, processor and HD size.

A great computer for normal work, web browsing, and small downloads. Even though its been refirbished, there is no noticable difference in looks or performance than one right out of the box. Met all of my expectations with no disappointment.

Best Buy Online was very simple to navigate. I appreciated the ease of this purchase. The product was as described. I received it in a very timely manner. I will shop with best buy online again.

Being this was a refurbished laptop I had some hesitation. It took me a some time to get all the updates installed but once I did it ran a lot better. , The battery life is good and it is light in weight. The speakers could use some help though.. The hard drive is large but you can`t add any RAM. The speed is good I have added some music and it hasn`t slowed it down yet. Just make sure you check to see how much of the warranty is left in case you want to extend it. This would be a good laptop for general use. No gaming.
