I am very glad to have chosen this laptop to replace my old HP laptop, which was getting old but still running ok for an almost 6 year old laptop. I did a lot of research on what to purchase and a big factor was the budget for me. I'm a graduate student so I don't have a lot of money but need a fast and reliable laptop that I can carry around with me. The laptop managed to exceed my expectations. It's fast, it's easy to set up, once you get used to Windows 8 and the design it's actually very easy to navigate. Sure, it would sometimes be nice to have a touchscreen. But after a few weeks I realized that I'm barely using the Windows 8 apps and use my laptop more like a normal computer for text writing, e-mails, Internet surfing and you don't need a touchscreen for that. The touchscreen is sometimes a bit weird (zooms in and out when you want to scroll donw) but you get used it. With its 17.3 " the laptop has a very nice, big and bright screen with a great resolution. It's perfect to watch films, but also to do graphic or design work or even video editing (haven't tried that yet). The disadvantage is that it is very large so not so easy to carry around but luckily it is not very heavy (actually lighter than my old 15.6 inch laptop). All in all a great product and I can definitely recommend it.

This laptop was a great value for the price I paid. I would recommend this laptop in the future...seems to be very stable and the 17" proved to be just what my Dad needed.

Definitely satisfied with this PC, It's fast, responsive, and the large screen is definitely a plus! The only thing I'm not pleased with, is the fact that the internet occasionally disconnects, and I can have trouble setting it back up, but that might just be Microsoft.

This computer is so much better than I thought it would be. Being refurbished I figure a scratch or two or odd programs on it. But this looked new and was set up like new, I could not tell it was used. It ran great out of the box and it a joy to use.

Well, let me first say that the shopping experience online at Bestbuy.com was pleasant and was very easy to use and navigate. Once I found the laptop that was in my price range, I felt like this was an easy choice. Windows 8.1 was a little tough to get used to coming from Windows 7, but after a while you get the hang of things. The computer itself at sometimes is extremely sluggish and that concerns me a bit being that I have not had it long and have not really downloaded anything on to the computer. The sound is great if you are wearing headphones, but if you are using the laptop's speakers......be prepared to have to turn the volume almost all the way up to hear anything. Overall for the money, it does a decent job but I don't think if given another opportunity to redo this that I would choose this computer.

everything about my purchase met my expectations. The computer is doing what I need it to do, though the 4GB Memory is a little slower than I was expecting for photo editing. I think that's reflective of my choice though - most computers now seem to be 6 - 8 GB. Everything else is great.

Got it for my husbands birthday; it was supposed to help him with work programs. So far he plays angry bird on it until 1am. He loves it.

I love the laptop its great fast, efficient, and easy to use. Although I am switching from windows 8 to 7 other then that its great!

Super great camera with so many features. Pictures are clear and beautiful Will use for website photos as well as family pics.

If you price out decent laptops with the I3 processor you will find this is a GREAT deal!!

Great screen resolution and bang for the buck! I would definitely recommend purchasing a refurbished Geek Squad computer as they are just as good as purchasing new!

I received the laptop in a timely manner. It looked brand new. As we were setting it up the letter A did not work no matter how we tried it. I called the nearest store (which was 25 miles one way). They gave me an appointment and when I arrived they decided they could not fix it so they suggested I choose a new laptop. We picked one out that was comparable and made an exchange. They did compensate me for the drive. Am happy with the new one. I would not recommend the refurbished one but will recommend Best Buy for a new model.

Did not work unless it was plugged this was a Christmas gift brought back to local store and told I could only get a store credit so I was forced to buy an even more exapensive lap top because the one I ordered they no longer had. To top it all off they had to order the new one because it was out of stock so I now have to come home and tell my child that they will have to wait another week to get the gift that they opened on Christmas day that did not work and I bought over a month ago
