Takes a long time to get the printer printing. Also, it makes a lot of noises while it gets ready to print. However, when finally printing the result is very good, including colors. Amounts of ink in the cartridges is way too little and cartridges are way too expensive. On our previous HP printer the print catcher would pop out automatically when printing something. This new 8135 does not do that so in you forget to release it manually the paper falls on the floor.

This is replacing an older OfficeJet printer, of which I was fond. This is a very good printer, and is a little easier to use overall than the older one. I am seeming to have trouble printing from another floor in my house sometimes, so I need to contact the Help desk about that. Otherwise, all is great.

The print is very clear, but it is very slow. It takes a long time to print just one sheet. I also have had trouble connecting it to an older laptop even though it has the latest Windows version.

Finally upgraded the old printer. This one is very sleek and has some great featurs. Really like that the paper is inside the unit and not hanging out or off the back. Can scan with the feed or under the lid. Very versatile with quality prints. HIghly recommended!

My wife is a Realtor and uses our printer on a daily basis. I was looking for a printer with duplex printing and scanning. As always the Best Buy employees helped me find the right printer at the rigjt price. And with HP+ i mever have to worry about running out of ink. Setup was very simple and the unit performs very well.

Our HP printer died right after it went out of warranty. Purchased same model, again with Best Buy Geek Squad warranty. This time the printer died before the warranty expired. Took into BB, they say the error code I had taken a photo of, immediately issued a store credit for full amount paid for printer. Walked over and purchased one of these. HP is like the devil you know. Set up was typical HP goes well till it does not. Printer did not like our paper. Would not perform alignment. Could not back up setup. Had to complete setup. Then in the HP Smart app, the Alignment tool would not show after multiple entries of pin next to printer cartridges. Once set up we are getting HP printing and scanning we expect. The devil we have known for 40 years of computer & printer ownership.

This is my second HP printer. I still have the first one working perfectly for last 5+ years. I got this one for my office. Manageable printing speed and less noisy at this price point, and Instant ink subscription doesn't hurt either.

Printer took many steps to install. Once installed, it has printed well every time.

This is a perfect sizes for a small desk.. and it does works perfect!

For a simple home printer, copier and scanner I have found the HP-OfficeJet Pro 8135e to be extremely nice. We needed something a little above a basic printer, just for stability and this does fit the bill without being overpriced however a suitable price for all its functions. A solid nice sized printer. I love the tray which holds a good amount of paper, so I don't need to fill it over and over. At this time the printing is nice. I am learning just a few more of the capabilities it offers, because I haven't used them yet like the larger paper size it can take, however I know I will use this someday. Well worth the purchase.
