Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The item makes copies, and prints from laptop but will not print from any mobile devices which is the primary reason I bought it to do...it says it's ready to print but you go into the HP Smart app and it continues to state unable to print...I spent 6 hours total with support and they couldn't figure it out...tried to blame the device, however my old printer which was an HP8600 Office Jet worked fine with all our mobile devices. So IMO the printer is useless and I would avoid getting it if you want to print from mobile device

We'll like to help. We'll suggest updating the Printer firmware to resolve printing from Mobile devices:

I print to a file and after turning my computer off and back on again I get my prints, even 2 sided. In searching the internet, there is definitely an issue between this printer and everyday apps. Very disappointed. Copies fine, b&w or color.

Still don't know how/if I can scan, but maybe i'll be able to. It's noisy and slower than my 10-year old Canon.

Just a fyi if you purchase this one please contact HP directly to set up as it is difficult to do on your own. HP is great to work with and they take over your computer and do it all.

Noisy and after printing the machine sounds like it is about to take off. Our older HP printer was much better (quality & Speed & ease of use) but it died after 7 years..
