I bought this because of such good reviews, however, once I set it up it doesn’t work. First, I received a start up error saying that the printhead was missing. The Geek squad said they couldn’t help because it was a hardware problem so I returned it and bought another. Second, can you believe that HP says that you have to have an online hpsmart account, and connect it to the printer, to use the printer. Third, HP says that if you want to print to wireless devices, like phones, etc,, you have to download the HP app to your devices. My hp8600 printer that I’ve had for 11 yrs (that just died :() was a plug and play. All of our devices just picked it up and printed to it. I’m not downloading an hp app to all our wireless devices. I feel like I’m in HP prison. I’ll never buy another HP printer again as long as they have these ridiculous and unnecessary requirements (and control). Very disappointed

Excellent product. This is my second one and it works great!

Easy to set up and use, large capacity paper tray and ink cartridges, and wireless connectivity. Like all HP printers, it goes into “sleep” mode when not used for a while, and shows as “offline” when you try to print after a long downtime.

Received the printer on 09/03. The printer is not working. Called Best buy and was told to contact HP for support, which I did. A new printer was supposed to be delivered within 5-7 business days by HP (have a case number). This was concluded by HP after trying to provide a remote support for 2 hours. The support person who took the call made an error and the printer was not delivered. Contacted Best Buy again today to get the printer returned to find out that the 15 days return period ended two days earlier and that I am in no luck. A super frustrating experience with both HP and Best Buy. Not to mentioned the extra long time each time I am calling either HP or Best Buy.

After HP IT connects it to my computer everything is fine

I like the printer. The only issue I had was linking it up with the computer, once I figured that out, it worked great. I also realized I couldn't have it hard wired to the computer and use the wireless option both.

A friend recommended this printer. Good choice. Will recommend to others.

Love the HP Inkjet/Scanners. This is the third one in this series I have purchased.

I would not recommend this printer to anyone! It worked fine for 18 months, then the print cartridge froze and would no longer move for no apparent reason. There was no paper jam. I followed all the instructions and could not free it. I tried everything recommended and still could not fix it. Had to buy a new printer. What a waste of money!!! Poorly designed.

Set up was. Good price and light weight. It is great for a personal office.

I LOVE this printer! great for my home office. Ink lasts a good while. Like the lcd interface, very easy to use. wifi connection is stable and great. scans, has ability to fax. its perfect. i love it. would buy again and def recommend.
