Laptop stopped working after owning for 9 months. Couldn’t get help from HP under warranty. Spent $1600 on a junk piece of parts.

I've had this laptop for 3 years, and it's been great. It's carried me throughout college both as a gaming and academic laptop. It runs code at amazing speed, and I've never had any issues.

blue screen after 2 days and back light bleeding ...

This laptop is definitely worth the price, with the high-tech GPU and processor this thing runs my games at an average of 170-200 FPS on high to ultra settings. So if you're looking for something as powerful as a good PC and portable, this thing is definitely the way to go. Aside from the gaming aspect, It also has a really nice RGB lit keyboard, and it is also extremely easy to open up the back and upgrade some parts like storage or RAM

This laptop is incredible. I give it 4 stars for its performance. The battery isn’t the greatest, and you’ll most likely need it plugged in to play powerful games. I don’t mind it since I game at home anyway, and not on the go. It has many USB ports and a card reader if you’re a photographer or videographer, which MANY new laptops are trying to get rid of.

Decent machine. Some seperation of the frame from the screen, but it hasn't impacted performance.

At one time I had sworn off HP as a whole. Having a very very very bad experience with trying to get my laptop repaired after just buying it. I bought an Asus and it lasted for a long time until I Wanted to spend alittle and upgrade my laptop for my birthday, a present to me. Somehow I was talked into giving the omen a shot...that it would be different this time....HP has changed. Well, that was a load. All in all for the 5 months it lasted me... it didn't work that badly. The keyboard lights were the first to fail though...about 2 weeks into using it.... then it started to overheat. But I chalked that up to me gaming and doing other things. Maybe I didn't have appropriate ventilation. THen te toch pad stopped working all together...which was annoying. And finally...the motherboard failed. I am a gamer, I played things like grounded and senuas sacrifice on it things i could hook a controller up to and not do keyboard ad mouse if i didn't want. And this unit didn't make the cut once again disapointed by HP

This laptop was amazing! However it has only been one year and the "R" key has stopped working consistently. If you look up "HP Omen R Key not working" You will get many many of the same complaints. This must be a manufacturing, quality issue. Unfortunately my warranty just expired. Other than that, it has worked well, run a variety of games and has never been slow. I recommend this lap top as a budget work/gaming computer if you aren't too sweaty a player. Great graphics and supports mods.

I wanted to like this product, I couldn't... my wrist would get cut into the edges of the laptop when gaming with the keyboard, the edges are sharp and need smoothed edges, mine was terrible and had to return as it was giving me a rash.
