    Amazing Laptop

This laptop had me questioning the performance based on what I was reading per the other reviews and comparing this laptop to other laptops of this standard. I can say I made a good choice picking this one up. It can run my main game Rainbow Six Siege at high settings at 144fps on avg, it plays Fortnite easily, it played SCUM easily without any visual tearing or fps dropping. It’s not a heavy laptop either which is a huge plus when I have to carry around a monitor and other heavier equipment with me on top of it. It has enough USB ports and THANKFULLY it has an Ethernet port on top of that!!!! Not many laptops these days offer an Ethernet port into the laptop. Overall a 10/10 for me.

    O'MAN for your OMEN

I bought this laptop after my dell g15 5530 gave up on me after overheating, only after I owned it for one year. My new OMEN is beautifully designed, and I instantly noticed how much thought the designer put into making sure the system stays cool. This is especially important for a gaming laptop since a PC has a lot more room inside to make sure the components that heat up have room to breathe. My OMEN has a beautiful display with a great screen refreshment rate compared to other laptops at the price range which are usually 120, this one is 165Hz. I like how you have the option to customize the backlight of the keyboard (some colors certainly look better than other however). The font used for the keys will likely be different from what you're used to - it's certainly different I can't say that I like it better than the normal font I'm used to seeing on other computers to be honest, it's certainly not bad, however. I also think that getting a CPU and GPU that take too much battery and heat up too much isn't ideal for a laptop so I think the specs that I get with this laptop are just about right. I can play any modern game with these specs and usually at the highest resolution too. With this laptop you should be good to handle any games the developers might through at you for another 3 years at least. It's a beautiful piece of work. On the final note I think the battery is the best you can expect considering everything. You will not be able to game for more than an hour if you're not plugged in. However, if I'm just doing my homework, this laptop will last for 2.5 hours no problem under the right settings.

I like the look and feel of this laptop. It doesn't get too hot but does stay warm. I only play here and there with it off the battery charger so not sure how long it would go. Love all the light features. Overall it's a nice light weight basic laptop and hope to enjoy it for a couple years.

This is a pretty good laptop, I got it open box for $850, was in great condition just had a little dust on it. It runs games smoothly for the most part, there has been lag every now and then but nothing really noticeable. The fans can get pretty loud when gaming, I use a cooling pad so overheating isn't a concern. Another thing is it attracts fingerprints and dust really easily so you'll wanna give it a wipe down with a microfiber at the end of the day.

It works. I wish I got a different laptop though. It has an odd charger plug that I'm not fond of. It's a bit heavy, but for the price, it's a decent laptop. I mostly use it for work so I throw a lot at it and it handles it all. Visual Studio, Edge, Outlook, Excel (Lots), and more. No issues, not much lag if any. If there is any it's for a quick second. I'd recommend it for price vs performance.

excellent laptop with high gaming capabilities and extreme processing power. ive only ever encountered 2 issues with this beast of a laptop. one is the fans are very loud which is to be expected, and secondly the cooling code for omen might be bugged as occasionally the laptop will heat heavily before cooling kicks in. overall id recommend

I use this laptop for work (graphics editing/website development). So far it’s performed perfectly for those tasks. Can’t speak to the gaming experience yet, but I’ll be trying some games out soon. For the style and performance, it’s a great price point. Fhe only thing I’ll change is upgrading the RAM relatively soon. I use about 12gb when I have Adobe and development apps open.

No matter the game, the graphics never disappoint. Thw keyboard has a highly satisfying feel and a easy-to-navigate color customization software. This laptop is surprisingly not heavy to travel with. Apart from the high performance quality, it's sleek look is a huge bonus. Perfect choice as my 1st gaming laptop.

I have really enjoyed my hp omen laptop. I do not use it for gaming but I teach xr and ai. I had to upgrade because I need to be able to use blender and unity and was struggling with my last HP. My only issue has been the laptop just stopped recognizing my wifi but with some research I was able to fix it. Seems it’s happened to a few people so there were posts on a fix. I got an 32 inch 4K monitor with it and have been happy.

This laptop has been heaven since my last one working at incredible speeds for whatever experience I've needed it to I've used it for business academic and gaming at it has ran beautifully on all 3 the HDMI prot allowing you to set it up or external displays the Ethernet cable for a speedy gaming experience and even without that the wireless signal is beautiful on WiFi that usually gives me trouble on other devices the display has beautiful graphics that have run high power games like Warframe and apex legends at speeds of 165 fps and higher. You can further augment the laptop by going into the setting and turning on the gaming mode which will make the laptop use more power but also increase the laptops performance running at speeds no slower then 180 fps this laptop has been beautiful to me well done.

the performance is good, the battery could be better , and other thing if you’re a content creator it might not be the right choice for you because it doesn’t support HDR , you can just watch videos with HDR but you can’t create content using HDR unless you connect it to an other monitor that supports HDR .

    A surprising win from HP

The last HP I had was a ProBook from around 2014. My current daily is a 2015 MacBook Pro I was lucky enough to get for free from a friend that had no use for it. The keyboard and touchpad on this laptop blow away anything else I tried in-store. The screen has low to no glare, the speakers are good, and there's plenty of I/O for my uses. The only detractor for me is the size. I thought I could make a 16.1" screen work but it's too much for my portability needs. If that doesn't bother you, then this is definitely a good option for you and you won't be disappointed. Keep in mind it uses a barrel plug charger.

Chose pick up, and get it on the next day. The box was surprisingly big and heavy. Laptop itself is powerful enough for me to play my favorite games like wuthering waves Roblox and No man's sky. Battery without charger holds 4 hours for YouTube and 1.5-2 hours gaming

Very nice laptop! It can easily run every game I've tried on max graphics with other programs such as Firefox and Discord open with absolutely no issues. The battery dies a little quickly when running games, but most places have outlets. I mainly purchased this because I move back and forth for school and absolutely destroyed a desktop PC that way.

I got this as an open box, and it was in excellent condition. I'm 7 months in use, and it hasn't failed me once. I'm able to stream, work, do music, use apps like Ableton, Discord, Twitch, and OBS Studio to do what I want to do with my games and music. 10/10 Budget gaming laptop, especially with the 40 series, I'm able to play most games with graphics set to "High" at 60FPS. and even Ultra for other games that aren't are rigorous in demand for graphics.

Great laptop! Works well, games well, everything works. Only minor issue is under heavy load it will stutter once thermals are at max, but once fan kicks in for long enough little stutter stops. Adjusting fan curves helps!

I bought this to replace my son’s 6 year old Acer Nitro laptop that had problems for a couple of years with overheating & the keys not working right. I can’t even begin to tell you how happy this made a 16 year old on Christmas. We were at his grandma’s house when he opened it, so he was thinking he’d have to wait until we were home to play any good games (her internet speeds are abysmal, like 7-10 mbps), but even with fighting cousins for bandwidth, this thing was fantastic. As soon as we got home, he set the graphics on No Man’s Sky to the highest level & had to come show me how great it looked and how fast everything was running. For a grumpy teenager, he has a pretty big smile on his face whenever he talks about his games now. The only downside is that the only time I see him is when he’s hungry or if the internet goes out.
