Product is very nice shipping was nice and easy. The only thing that I have a complaint about is the leasing process I chose to lease this item I did not know that there was a 90 day and a one year contract. I wish I could switch over to the 90 day but I am finding it completely unsuccessful to do that now.

My motherboard crashed and I had to replace the machine on a budget, so that is how I arrived at the Omen. Lets look at the pros and cons Pro 1. Good looking machine and the flexible lighting choices are a blast ! 2. This PC is twice as fast as my old machine so I am happy with the gaming aspects. I am a 1080p gamer so this more than meets my needs. the 1660 Super card is a step up from my GTX 770. 3. For the most part it is a good value for the money. 4. Case is a nice size and it actually fits on my desk so I can admire the good looks. 5. there is one extra slot with power and a SATA cable for a 3rd hard drive which is good because I was able to install my data SSD. Con 1. The Ryzen 3600 chip runs HOT. Mine was idling at 50 degrees Celsius which is crazy considering my I7 3770 idled at 30 Celsius. I found that the way Windows gets installed the Minimum Processor State in advanced power management is set to 99 percent. So all the cores run flat out all the time and do not throttle back. I set mine down to 20% and now I idle at 40C. An improvement but not ideal. Customer support gets a poor grade for the handling of my cooling issue. 2. I too had to buy RAM because 8GB is not enough. 3. Getting the top plate out that holds the radiator or additional case fan is a pain. You need to turn the machine over on the top so you can get the holes lined up. So now that the cooling crisis is somewhat over I am satisfied with the machine. At some point in the future I will switch over to water cooling. If I had it all to do over again I would stick with an Intel chip, they are easier to cool.

It's been 5 days since I've owned it and so far I have zero issues. Typically I build and but since prebuilts are starting to cost less these days I decided why not (and the parts I wanted to build a new one are OOS until July). Extremely quiet and the case has decent customization options. You can customize the lighting effects and it seems like there's room to upgrade to liquid cooling if that's your thing. Although it came with one stick of ram (8gb) it is expandable and another stick is going for about $45 so upgrading won't break the bank. My only complaint is the mobo only supports 3 sata drives but it's not the end of the world for me since I only ever have 3 drives at the time. Being a prebuilt you can expect it to come with the usual bloatware but removing it all took maybe 30 minutes tops. If you're just here to getting gaming info, I've done some video editing in SVP, played Gears Tactics, Apex Legends, and Yakuza 0 without any issue.

So I bought this PC a month ago as I needed a system for playing COD Warzone, and also use Pro Tools for Music Production, and Premiere & Photoshop for video/photo editing. At the time of the purchase, I had set a $1000 budget for the Tower itself and $500 for Monitor and other accessories. Fast forward a month, I now have upgraded the CPU to Ryzen 7 3800X, and the RAM to 32GB 3200Mhz. And I will soon upgrade the graphics card to a RTX 2080 Super. Why? This PC worked absolutely GREAT for the price tag of $1000. I played Warzone on it on a 1440p monitor without any issues, I also used Photoshop smooth like butter. But when it came to Music Production and using Premiere Pro for video editing, that’s where I felt like more CPU power and better RAM can boost the performance. So, conclusion: If you don’t have a bigger budget for a tower, and are looking for a pre built then look no further. It’s a solid build all around. It also looks very Sexy and access to pc parts and motherboard is super easy with a press of a button to eject the side glass panel. Great product by HP!

I was going to order a custom upgraded Omen directly from HP but delivery wasn't available until late June. Best Buy had the Ryzen 5 model in stock so I ordered online and it was ready for curbside pick-up it couldn't have been quicker or easier. It is a sleek looking computer one of the nicest cases I've seen. I immediately added 32 Gb of Corsair RAM but it came with one 8Gb stick of Kingston HyperX Fury RAM had I known that I would have just bought another stick of HyperX but I'd already ordered the Corsair memory. I've seen a lot of benchmark videos that show the Ryzen 5 3600X, Ryzen 7 3700X, and Ryzen 9 3900X processors all perform close to the same for gaming but I decided to swap out the Ryzen 5 processor for a Ryzen 7 and it was sooo easy. The heatsink is attached with 4 spring loaded screws. It took all of five minutes to swap the processors. I used the same heatsink/fan that came with the computer and it's running cool enough in the low 50's C. I haven't stressed it yet so not sure what the high end temps would get to. I'm probably going to get a better heatsink soon anyway. HP shows a modle with watercooling on their website but there is only room for a 120mm radiator on the top of the case. The exhause fan in the back is 92mm I think and there is one 120mm intake fan in the front. The powersupply is 500 watt Cooler Master 80 Plus Bronze. I'll be upgrading that as well to go with a PNY RTX 2080 ti. You can order a custom upgrade of this computer directly from HP with a Ryzen 9 3900X and an RTX 2080 ti but it takes almost a month for delivery. I'm very happy with this purchase from Best Buy and it is fun doing my own upgrades. This is my third HP computer and they haven't let me down yet.

I've never had a PC that just worked on everything I tried out of the box until this. It's even slicker looking in person compared to the pictures. You can't go wrong with a Ryzen 3600, it's the most popular CPU right now for a reason. The GTX 1660 SUPER is nothing to sneeze at either, it'll play pretty much everything no hassle, no fiddling with settings. The SSD makes the boot time super fast (way faster than I'm used to from using regular HDs). The RAM inside is also a well known brand, and you can add another stick if you need more. I love this thing, all great parts, no hassles, everything game-wise works, applications run buttery smooth. Plus the case and lighting are incredible and not over the top. I plan to upgrade this thing for years to come. HP killed it with the case design, lighting, and high-end parts. Highly recommend, at this price it's a great starter for future upgrades.

Pretty solid desktop after about 3 months of use. RGB of the case is actually very very nice. Can adjust the Red/Green/Blue levels to your preference so if a color doesnt look quite right, play around with it. My only complaint so far really is upgradability. The RAM can be upgraded to 32GB, and you can add a good amount more memory as well, but for some reason when I added an extra 8GB stick of the exact same RAM to the board, the BIOS lowers both stick frequency from 3200MHz to 2400MHz. Really bizarre thing to have happen. I also wish the power supply was a little more than 500W, as upgrading beyond this 1660 Super is pretty limited. If you dont care about any of that though and just want a pretty, well functioning PC with plenty of I/O and can even support 3 monitors (one through VGA), then pull the trigger. For $850, I couldnt find another prebuilt PC with these specs that wasnt built by one of those shady PC Gaming companies that dont always use great supporting parts in their builds to cut costs. If your an enthusiast who can build their own then sure go that route. I just think for whats included here you wont be saving much if any $ in this case.

I am a content creator who does not game. I do a lot of video editing and was losing my mind with my Mac that I bought in 2016 being laughably slow as I attempted to load Adobe premiere pro. This led to me researching PCs. This computer is what I decided to buy after weeks of research into the process of building my first PC. I used a benchmarking site(passmark) to compile my parts and the ryzen 5 3600, and GTX 1660 super are some of the best valued, high end parts you can get right now. The computer is absurdly fast, perfectly quiet, and beautiful to look at. The HP command center is actually a pretty cool app for checking the vitals of your computer and changing the RGB lights. It has WiFi built in as well as Bluetooth which are very convenient. The motherboard is a micro ATX, with 2 ram memory slots. I purchased a matching HyperX ram card to upgrade this to 16gb, but it really isn't necessary. I wish I could properly share with you how happy I am that I bought this computer, but I'm sure this review will fall short. I editing my first video on it today and it was the happiest I have been in a long time. When things just work right, life is good. Thank you HP and to the OMEN team, keep doing what you're doing.

Really good gaming computer for the low to average gaming person. I wanted to build one, but during the time in our history stuff is hard to get! I would have gave it 5 star if it came with a couple more slots for ram and a little more ssd memory. I perfer more then I need so the processor don't have to overwork. Great processor, AMD RYZEN 5, Personally I think one of the best mid range processor out there. Graphics card is pretty good if you want to max it out. I play farming simulator 19, call of duty, and couple different role playing games and graphics only lags in the HIGH demand graphic games. But overall really good on most modern games! But make sure you get a really nice monitor to see the graphics.

Overall the computer is good if you are interested in ability to upgrade parts. 8gbs of ram is enough for most games but will need an upgrades to 16gbs for more AAA titles(Which I did). 1660 Super it comes with is capable of 60 fps at High settings with RTX off in games like Call of Duty MW or CW but does dip in FPS in some multiplayer maps. The cable management is pretty bad and with no space behind the right panel to fix this issue. Bracket on the top part of the case made it super easy to install a AIO but is missing USB header to be able plug in the rgb on AIO. This part can be fixed with a header splitter. This computer is good for someone who a beginner learning how to work inside a computer or someone who doesn't want to mess with the components. If your looking for high fps on games like Fortnite or Valorant this computer would be fine but not in others like COD or open world games

This is a mostly day-one review. So far it's fantastic! Everything loads nearly instantly, the set-up was simple and I've not had a single issue with it. I'm not a super hardcore gamer, with my main poison of choice being the MMORPG FFXIV, but it's ran that with absolutely no issue on high settings. Will try to test it on a few other games later down the line. I would recommend adding some RAM, as one review mentioned already, but since I'm not doing heavy gaming just yet, I'll probably hold off on that for a while longer. Still, heavily recommended. Included mouse and keyboard are definitely cheap, but they're what you would expect for a middle of the road gaming pc. Could've put a little more effort like the CyberPower PC's usually do, but if you're buying this for the peripherals, then your doing it wrong. I'll be taking mine to work as back-ups, personally. The case itself is nothing special, but as someone who isn't heavily infatuated with RGB, the case is really nice. I'm in love with the minimal but nice RGB it has. So far, the fans are working wonderfully. I don't feel much heat at all coming from the pc, even with many programs running all at once. It's allowed me to watch streams while gaming myself and listening to music without any lag or excessive noise. Not the quietest machine, but wouldn't keep me awake at night either. Took a gamble buying this when it had no reviews, and so far it's paid off tremendously. Will update upon issues/non issues in the future.
