Great computer for some VR games!

My games run amazing on this PC. Today as of writing this review, I could only get about 40fps on Beat Saber on lowest settings possible but if you aren’t gonna play VR then almost every game will work fine. I do hate that the inside lights to light up everything are only when you turn the PC on. I can’t find a single setting to turn it on.

I spent several weeks researching different gaming PC's and was hoping this would go on sale. I couldn't find a lower price and decided to go ahead and get it. The start-up is very fast and I can't believe how quiet this unit is. The lights are fun to play with. I did have to get another 8GB RAM. Removing the cover and adding the RAM was easy. So far so good and I'm glad that I bought it.

Great but have to insert more RAM

Great computer, lighting options are great, my game is running fast and streaming is fine. However, the keyboard and mouse included are not OMEN branded and not very appealing to gamers, the target market of this desktop. They could have done away with these entirely and inserted another stick of RAM for a similar price, as most consumers buying a gaming computer likely already have a RBG keyboard and mouse. Most people who buy this computer are going to need to open it up to insert more RAM which is kind of silly on HP's end as it is an inconvenience to buyers. Overall though I have not have any problems with this PC (have been using it for two or so weeks)

So ive only had this a few hours, BUT straight out of the box its beautiful, its stupid fast, and has played all my games at medium high settings and getting close to 100 fps. The mouse and keyboard it comes with are just basic cheap HP and i hate them so i tossed them. Love the customization with the colors. The ram did light up when i first booted up the computer but now it doesn't. but with the colors inside the case it would have been pointless anyways. but i do recommend getting another 8gb of ram if you are into heavy gaming or just upgrade it fully to 32gb. Overall i give this a 10/10.

This is one stunning PC, a very clean refined look. Being older now, I've never been a fan of PC cases with 7 fans and rainbow lights everywhere which kids seem to love. The PC boots up fine and I have already tested it on a few games on high settings (all worked flawlessly varying from 60 FP worst-case scenario to 100+). I agree 8 GB of RAM is not enough these days, they should have 16 GB minimum. That being said, everything has worked flawlessly on 8 alone so I can always upgrade that later for $50. I haven't noticed heat issues either but I also don't play for like 6+ hours straight a day so it may affect you differently. I have only had it for a few days so I will update with any issues down the road...I love this PC.

Awesome cpu and the gpu is pretty decent for being a single fan blower. Loved the computer until I tried to change setting in the BIOS. Its labeled as an upgradable pc but the BIOS restricts you from doing virtually anything, even something as simple as changing the fan speeds. The motherboard might as well be locked. So.. I replaced the mobo but the case only fits a micro. The lighting board on the front was not compatible with my new motherboard so the front fan LED wouldn't work. Wound up replacing everything except the cpu and gpu. Even swapped the case for better airflow. PC is an amazing starter pc, but if you're looking to upgrade it over time like I was, I would recommend something other than an OMEN.

Great Pc for people new to pc gaming. Super fast and enough cpu power for multitasking. The Gpu is perfect for 1080p high setting gaming and does well in ultra settings as well. Only drawback is the lack of two hdmi ports and only one stick of RAM. Overall great product.

This PC is amazing considering how inflated the parts are the only things I recommend is get a better case, modular psu and a better motherboard with dual channel but besides that I run the 1660 over clocked at 1900mhz and it works good

Let me kick this off by stating that I don't game at all but needed something to support video editing, music production, etc. This was the first PC I've gotten in years after years of laptops and oh my god, this thing is outstanding. First of all, the fit and finish of the unit itself is amazing. I love the revised look. Don't even bother with the included mouse and keyboard (I suspect most people won't anyway). This machine can take anything I throw at it and more. I bought an extra 8GB RAM module from HyperX as well. My only complaint is the WiFi card in it. My desk isn't in a good spot for ethernet so I've been living on WiFi, which has been unreliable and slow at best. This is not an ISP issue; every other device in my house works fine. Hoping it's a driver issue that can be updated. Overall, get one. Love it forever.

I've had this PC for two years, and it's still in excellent condition as the day I purchased it! I'm very happy with the product - I had eyed the PC for a very long time, saved up, and bought it, finally. Never been happier with a PC product like this machine! :)

Excellent mid-range gaming PC. The LED cover RAM stick is pretty awesome to look at and the tower itself is very quiet and easy to configure the dynamic lighting. Performance seems to be really good as well on most games. Over-all a great purchase for the price!

If you aren't technical enough to build your own PC, but have been itching to leave consoles, like me, then I highly recommend this Omen model. As others have pointed our, 8gb Memory isn't enough to hold much if you're an avid gamer, but there are no other downsides I've found in the roughly 2 months I've been using this computer. It plays WoW with no problem, even in crowded cities. It plays GTA like Jordan played basketball. This thing is an absolute steal. My personal favorite feature is the Omen hub app that lets you monitor your PCs temperature, speed, download/upload rates, and change the lights. The actual RGB memory unit is unresponsive to the commands to change the lights, but it isnt a dealbreaker for me because Ive already ordered an upgrade kit to replace it as I eagerly await Cyberpunk 2077. 9/10 PC. Absolutely the best computer I've ever owned.

Over all a great pre built pc, could come with another hyperx fury DDR4 8gb. Runs really smooth on most games, some i cant play due to the single 8 gb stick it comes with, but thats ok just buy another and I will be good to go. Down side is it has to be RGB to work with the one it came with. Either way great pre built for a first pc, can do enough to get you started. Has no problem running Apex Legends and Twitch with Discord as well, Battlefield 5 is a little choppy at times butworks great if you adjust your settings. i hope you ever gets this will enjoy it as much i have and still do.

This PC has an extremely fast processor and wonderful reaction o games. The speed really shows if you decide to 'defrag'. 'Defragging' takes less than a half-second for both the memory core and the solid-state hard drive (sshd). unfortunately, the machine has almost no memory. with less than a day of use. I found my storage had been filled and I had nothing left for personal photos, files, or videos. I also found I had to uninstall a game so another game could download updates (due to lack of storage). My suggestion, have this computer shipped with an internal hard drive installed before shipment (in addition to the solid state hard drive already installed).

I have waited months to post this review to make sure my opinion did not change. WOW, this is an amazing gaming desktop! I am amazed. The graphics are out-of-this-world! The speed is sickening. Storage is good I will probably add some more storage but so far it is more than adequate. It is very well built and super sexy looking. I researched pre-builds before I purchased this as it is a large purchase I even considered building my own but this was too good to pass on. I blown away by the speed and quality of this machine. Best I ever owned and worth every penny!

This machine is a great beginner machine but here are some notes: Pros- Very clean and easily upgradeable Omen software is great Powerful box out of the box Plenty of room inside Cons- Graphics card is low profile even though this is a full-size case so it can get hot due to one fan depending on what you are doing. limited slots on the board for upgrades Not a great amount of ram, I upgraded to 32gb (its max) With all that being said, looks great, feels great, just a few things I wish I had looked into better.

I upgraded to this PC from an Omen 17" gaming desktop. This computer is easy to set up , nice to look at , is easily expanded, has a great video card and comes with a fast processor. I really like the case with the clear glass door and the ability to change the colors! The only thing I do not like about this computer is the fact that HP charges an arm and a leg for more memory and it you increase the memory without buying it from HP (even if you use the exact same memory) the new memory will run at a slower clock speed. I have had this for about a month and am very happy with the purchase. I bought an "open box " unit , but the unit I got looked brand new.

i’ve had this pc for about a month or so and there have been no major issues. This is a great PC. i’ve been able to run many high graphics games with no lag and high frame rate, and i was also able to run minecraft with SEUS shaders at around 100 FPS, which i was not expecting this desktop to be able to do. one flaw that it does have is that it only comes 8GB of RAM (but it does have an additional ram slot), and even though it hasn’t caused too many issues for me yet, i still find it to be too little given the rest of the computer’s specs. overall, though, this is a great PC and has a great price point for what you get. 10/10, would recommend

Bought open box. Wish it was a bit more descriptive of what was missing. I was lucky that I had extra power supply cables laying around. I wish the label ensured the hardware was in the tower. So far... everything works fine. It’s only been a few day tho. Been playing some heavy rendering games and seems to be keeping up with me. Though I need to run a hard wire connections. Download speeds over wifi is not the fastest. Took me about 4-5 hours to run a 64GB download. But after that. It ran the game smooth. So glad I found this diamond in the rough gaming tower.

PROS: Good starting PC in todays market. Runs most games fairly well. Easy setup. CONS: Not much opportunity for upgrades. Definitely needs ram right off of the bat to run games smoothly. I immediately added more ram and another HD. Upgraded my graphics card, and the computer runs a little warm and draws a ton of power. If you don't plan on upgrading or running heavy games it works just fine!
