Getting ready to buy a second one.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is such a great product. You can overclock this computer if you get the Ryzen series processor. I got this computer on sale for $960. You couldn't build a computer with these components for anywhere near that, especially with all the supply shortages. The 2060 graphics card is very solid for any AAA title. I added a top fan as soon as I pulled it out of the box, and will and an air cooler later. If you want videos on how to upgrade the cooling watch DanKamYouKnow videos on YouTube.

Great product for starting out PC gamers!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely love this machine! For a descent price tag this machine does everything I need it to do such as video/photo editing, gaming, and super fast web browsing. Considering that its also very upgradable in terms of RAM, GPU, CPU, & Fan output is incredible. So far my only complaint was a malfunction with the RGB settings on my 16gb of Hyperx fury RAM. Seems the command center cant control the RGB lighting setting anymore but it could be a faulty RAM stick.

Good starter PC but be prepared to upgrade parts
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer has served me well as a starter gaming and work PC, but has some drawbacks to keep in mind. I’ve had it since February. Pros: 1. Powerful Gpu that is difficult to purchase on its own at the moment. 2. Runs most games at high settings at least 60 FPS and 1080p. 3. Good price given current market. 4. I love the case and the ease of customizing the LEDs inside. Cons: 1. The Gpu is a very cheap version of the RTX 2060 with poor cooling and only one HDMI port and one Display Port. Still works well and stays cool enough, just not the best. 2. The thermals are awful and the CPU can get up too 100 C on full load. The stock cooler that is included is pretty poor. I ended up replacing it about a month after getting this PC with a beefier air cooler. The fans aren’t the best either. 3. BIOS are locked on the motherboard, and it’s a pretty cheap motherboard altogether with very few ports. I plan on doing a motherboard swap next. 4. Upgrading the RAM is possible, but RAM that is not HP brand will run slower than its designated clock speed. There are workarounds I have seen, but it requires some competence. 5. Small amount of SSD storage. I like this computer, and if you’re like me and aren’t a computer building expert, it’s a good buy. I’ve been having fun upgrading it slowly with a bigger SSD and a new cooler so far, and plan on slowly replacing everything and maybe even the case as time goes on. Very few problems with performance overall. Some examples of the performance I get on different games (all at 1080p). Red Dead Redemption 2: 80 FPS on balanced settings. Witcher 3: 90 FPS on maxed out settings. (Can go higher if you tweak settings a bit). Warzone: 90 FPS on pretty high settings.

hits the sweet spot on performance for the money
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.had this for a couple weeks now. been out of the PC desktop world for a few years. used to game a lot but life, career, and family took over. one of the kids started gaming and his laptop was just not up to the task. I had no idea of the current tech so did a little Googling with a budget in mind of about $1200 and picked this up. For the price and what it has it is a pretty good deal. Yes, now that I have done a bit more research I could have built one myself but knowing how my upgradeitus works I would have ended up blowing the budget out of the water. For $1200 this is a very fair price. I would have speced it a bit different like a 3600X instead of the 3700X and a 2060 Super instead of the older 2060 GPU but everything else is pretty close to what I would have built. It has 3200 memory and a 1/2 GB nvme drive with a 1TB mechanical drive which is spot on with what I wanted to do. The disappointments in this system are lack of expandability. There are no card slots open and only 2 memory slots which hold the 2x 8GB memory cards. The only expandability inside the case was an SATA connector which I used to connect an old 1.5TB drive i had sitting around for even more storage. The lights are pretty to look at and the 12 year old digs them. I am enjoying the rig also with a racing wheel to do Project Cars 2 and F1. This is a good machine. I will probably upgrade the graphics card down the road but for now we are getting at least 80FPS on just about all the newer titles with Ultra settings. Most games are well above 100FPS with CSGO doing closer to 300FPS. Last bit of advise is we had an old 60Hz panel we were using until yesterday when we picked up a 240Hz IPS. HUGE improvement with GSync tuned on. Was able to afford the new display because I did not blow the budget by building my own $1600 machine.

Worth the sale price. Not the original price
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great mid-range PC. Purchased for $950, can't beat this PC for under $1000. The only thing holding this system back is the RTX 2060 which don't get me wrong is a good GPU but if you want to game on a 1440p monitor like I do, don't expect frame rates greater than 90. The desktop is easily upgradeable and I plan on purchasing an RTX 3060ti when ever they are readily available on Bestbuy.com

Good rig, good price, one potential issue
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lets just get right to the point. Youll get high frames, games will look good, and there is room to upgrade. only cons ive found in the weeks ive had it is the temp, and that the mobo only has two ram slots. 2 ram slots is enough, but it would be nice to have more, like I said though there is room to upgrade. Now the temps are a different story. Get new fans is all i can say, the temps arent bad, but it runs pretty hot. I would only suggest getting new fans or a LC for your cpu. Airflow is not the best, that said, you wont regret buying the pc. Not much bloatware on it either, and you can get rid of what little it did come with. Good buy!

HP-Omen 30L is Great!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is sold as a beginners' "gamers" computer, but it is great for everyday use and is reasonably priced. The RTX 2060 video card (6GB Graphics RAM) by nVidia is perfect for the configuration. The video outputs of DVI for older monitors and the newer HDMI and Display Port outputs for modern monitors give the user full connection options. I did remove the 16GB of system memory (RAM) (2x8), and upgraded to 32GB of memory (RAM) (2x16), and using the computer's slide off cover, it was super easy and the upgrade worked fine. I did a BIOS upgrade (flashing the ROM) and that was successful. If there was one feature that would have been a bit better it would be that the computer came with a 500GB SSD (C drive), instead of the smaller 256GB SSD, for possible future additional program installations.

Great computer for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this a few weeks ago, finally set it up, so far from what I can say, not bad, this machine is fast, graphics are awesome on some games I have installed. The RGB lights are nice, even though I don’t use them all the time. Easily upgradable, in which I will be swapping out the power supply for more power. Overall a great computer!

Great Basic Gaming PC
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have seen multiple reviews mentioning issues with the lighting control, but I have yet to experience it. I am basically using this as a steam machine to my TV, so I have turned off all of the lights for a darker environment. It does only have 2 RAM slots, both used with 8gig sticks, so that will be an upgrade cost if you want to run as efficiently as possible. If you're looking to upgrade the graphics card in the future, you'll have to also upgrade the power source in this guy. My biggest complaint is the need for countless updates out of the box for Windows as well as some of the drivers. I would recommend going to the HP website to do the driver downloads as easily as possible. Overall, this guy runs all of my games well and gave me the ability to play more than I was capable of before. It's a decent value when you compare the specs with doing your own custom build.

Decent entry level gaming rig.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The pictures dont do the case justice. its really slick looking and very solid. i like the push button side cover release instead of screws. the OMEN gaming app that allows you to adjust all the lighting colors/funtions, fan speeds etc. is cool too. The CPU cooler and rear case fan looks like something you would have gotten boxed in a CPU from 2014 and the rear case fan looks to be a 92mm instead of a 120mm and isnt RGB. kinda makes a bland looking interior were it not for the RGB lighting and RGB memory. Overall the PC runs smoothly, fans are relatively quiet given that there is only 3 in the entire system. dont expect to add any type of expansion cards as this is some weird HP OEM oversized ITX board with only 1 PCIe slot for the GPU even though the case clearly has two extra rear slots. it does have built in WiFi at least. The SSD is an M.2 made by western digital. memory is HyperX. the GPU appear to be a reference nvidia card. the PSU is a pretty bare bones 400W non modular. the included mouse and keyboard barely pass as useable for browsing the internet so if you plan on gaming throw them in the trash and buy something else. Decent entry level rig for 1080p gaming.

I've had it for a few weeks now and it's great
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't let the fact that they call it a "gaming desktop" dissuade you from getting it. If you need a computer for video/photo editing, 3d animation and other things like that, this can handle software for those things pretty well. At this point, the only thing a more expensive computer can do is speed up your work. If you're a beginner/intermediate, that's not too necessary. For gaming, I was able to run Destiny 2 at max graphics and I had no problems at all. I definitely recommend this computer.

Amazing Computer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not a 'gamer' but but I wanted to upgrade my 5-year old desktop computer with a better GPU and CPU! I swapped the two 8MB DIMMS out for two 16MB DIMMS and it was absolutely painless. The lighting effects are interesting and they add to the aesthetics of the computer. I've had a few glitches since bringing it online but things seem to have leveled out now. It's an absolute bargain, considering all of the specs. (The keyboard and mouse aren't as good as the computer itself but that was expected.)

Great for playing and streaming!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this right around the time that Cyberpunk 2077 came out. I’m able to play CP2077 on Ultra settings with ray tracing and maintain 50-60fps. I get a steady 75+ FPS (even up to 120+ FPS) on other heavy games like COD Cold War and Witcher 3. I’ve had a lot of fun so far with this PC. Easy to set up, simple to use.

Perfect 1st PC
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Basic: I was going to build a pc but the deal for what's instead this pc for the Black Friday sale / in general is good if you would rather buy it already built. AMD processors (3700x is in this model)are showing faster speeds currently and less power usage than intel. The RTX 2060 that is inside will run AAA (ex:cod) titles at medium quality and be just fine. 16GB RAM is perfect. RGB lights are attractive as well. Little things: You will want to only have windows on the C-drive, but the 1TB Hard drive is enough for plenty of games and if you see more this has A LOT of USB ports to add a external hard drive(what I will be doing when I reach that point). The ONLY CON is the power supply of 500w BUT that is fine and can be upgraded later. Disclaimer: I stream to twitch/fb gaming, run Spotify, and can play Warzone (really intensive cpu game) and it runs smoothly with no lag or slow downs. Optional item that will make gaming experience unreal with this pc is to pair it with a 144hz, 1ms, 1920x1080p Monitor. Can go higher in hz but starting out or budget 144hz will be just fine.

Excellent Gaming Rig
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted a computer to play MS Flight Sim. It has fairly lofty hardware requirements to play at ultra settings. After reading a lot of reviews, this configuration seemed like a great value for the price. Esthetically it's a good looker. The black case with mirrored front and clear glass side panel are great to look at. The lighting options enhance the style. Connectivity wise, it has all the ports you need. I'd like to have seen a few USBc ports on the front/top of the case, but otherwise I'm able to connect all my peripherals. Game play has been fantastic. MS Flight Sim is smooth at Ultra display settings. No stutters, lagging, etc. at a frame rate consistently around 40fps. On less demanding games it can easily do 150fps+. I bought it black Friday weekend and thought I got a great price at $1249. But then a couple of weeks it went on sale again for $950. So yeah, for the price I'm totally stoked!

||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up and start using. Easy to upgrade as well. Great Computer, price is due to graphics card
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The computer is amazing quality. I bought it to play Sims 3 (I have cc and all expansion packs) and it runs so smoothly. So far all of my games I can run at the high graphics settings. The computer is so quiet and fast!
