    Reliable, Quiet, and Good Performer

Runs very nice for a prebuilt computer, especially at its price. The casing has plenty of room for upgrading, and it’s very quiet for the most part when it runs. I haven’t had an issue with heat at all yet, but I haven’t played or done anything too intensive either yet. Very easy to set up, open, and customize with the Omen program. I’d recommend a hard drive or ssd to address the smaller storage space this model offers, and I also added another 8gb of ram too. Nearly all Xbox game pass games i’ve played with it run at perfect 60fps (and higher if fps can be uncapped in game) with basically all max settings. Vanilla Minecraft will run 400fps+ with nearly all high settings once the world has loaded in. Splitgate runs 120fps+ at max settings. I haven’t tried warzone, but I expect at least 60fps on medium to high settings. You can probably find a better priced prebuilt computer with much better specs for a few hundred extra dollars, but I’ve found this desktop to be quite reliable and performs better than I probably will ever need for nearly every game I’d like to play at the moment. If you don’t mind upgrading later, or care for those new 3090 speeds at the moment; this is a good choice. I have also found videos online/youtube in case you want to rehouse your parts into a different case or upgrade the graphics card, etc. I’d say this is definitely an acceptable and nice looking prebuilt for the current market.

I am enjoying the Omen more than anticipated. Over the past four days or so I have loaded and tested around 25 different game titles and every single one of them, with the exception of Cyberpunk, ran perfectly on max settings. As far as Cyberpunk goes, it was a mixture of a few low settings with a majority mid-level settings and a few that were bumped up a notch...and it ran and looked great. I was probably utilising about 60 to 65 percent of the game's ambitious capabilities. Needless to say I was thrilled because I'm still playing it in having a blast even though I didn't think it was going to be that successful. The only other thing I have to say about the Omen is that it's definitely a very elegant and professional looking machine. I mean the Omen looks like it came to the party in a three-piece-suit while everybody else wore their Big Johnson T-shirt. It's just too much with all the crazy L.E.D.S that i see on machines. The Omen got it right with the lighting. Very tasteful. I totally recommend this HP. Matthew

Absolutely love this PC! Have had it for little under a month now, and it runs absolutely smooth! Mostly use it to play Red Dead Redemption 2, (pretty hefty game to run) and runs phenomenal considering the graphics card is a bit dated. Even other strenuous game run amazing. Outside of gaming, it’s a great desktop for working. Only downside is it tends to run a bit too hot, but very easily upgradable to fit your needs. Highly recommend!

This is such a great build. Easy to use, the color settings make it fun, and runs like a dream. Every game I've tried has run smoothly and normal web browsing/media stream is fast and high quality.

Only way to get a GPU these days. The good: 1.) It's under $1k with a decent HP branded GTX1660 Super. It seems pretty decent with copper heat pipes, the vram actually touches the hearsink. It auto boosts TO 1890MHZ while gaming. 2.) M.2 nvme 512gb drive, bluetooth, Fast wireless internet card, 10th gen i5 with hyperthreading, quality 500w psu with plenty of amps on the 12v rail. Usb 3.2 The bad: ONLY comes with 1 stick of proprietary HP Kingston hyperx RAM in single channel mode. Cannot just out any ram and run at full 3200mhz speed. No XMP profile in Bios. With intel you have to deal with running ram at 2100mhz aftermarket ram or get Kingston made for intel out of box runs at 2400mhz speed but at least dual channel and lower CAS latency. HOT! -The version i have doesn't come with a front fan. No vents in front. So the case build is poor. Heats up like a toaster oven unelss you take the side panel off while gaming. And the lights suck. I unplugged them. I mainly play BATTLEFIELD 4. Its fine with that game. Would not play bf5 or cyber punk. I bought it for BF4, some Pubg and daily taskts. But please Bump the fps up by at least 20-40 by running dual channel ram. Seems to be steady higher frames in dual channel while gaming and obviously adding another 8gb to make 16gb helps over all. It's not a beast or a high end gaming PC but has a good gpu that's affordable. I enjoy my windows experience no hiccups and cpu stays steady at 4-4.2ghz for me in performance mode. All 6 cores @4.0ghz while gaming.

I work in graphic design and video editing , this computer its more than enough for that, also the few games I play always open w full resolution high graphic fidelity, I did have some ram laying around which I added an left the computer w 32 ram and its pretty fantastic. I been told its not tthe best of the best computers but its pretty dam great for a begginer or someone that doenst want to break the bank on a first gaming, 3d working, graphic design computer

I'm normally against prebuilts but this is a sweet spot for the price and the HP experience between the software and hardware like the lighting of the PC is very nice. Like another reviewer said, you will need to inevitably add more storage space and throw in another 8GB of ram. Neither of those upgrades are expensive. Also the power supply is around 400-500w so if you upgrade this down the road you may have to switch that out for a higher wattage one. Also the CPU and cooler (upgrade to liquid AIO?) would need to be upgraded if you want another generation out of this. Even if you don't want to upgrade or do any DIY this is good for a few years.

Had this about a month now, so far so good. Bought it for my 12 year old gamer’s birthday, he’s in heaven. Whisper quiet, I’ve had no problems with the fan or excessive heat, just keep it well ventilated. Starts up in seconds, good quality hardware and the clear glass console is just gorgeous to stare at. For 8 gb, it has handled all his games flawlessly, I haven’t heard him complain once about lagging or freezing. Paired it with a 32” curved monitor and a backlit mechanical keyboard, just looks amazing, especially at night. No complaints here, especially for the <1k reasonable price tag and a very respectable graphics card. Hope it keeps performing as well as it has so far! Well done HP

9/10 would recommend. This isn’t the highest end gaming pc, however if you’re new to gaming this is a perfect pc for you. I’ve had it for about 2 weeks now and have had no problems with it. I run games like valorant at around 200fps on max settings. The one and only complaint I have about this pc is the cooling isn’t the best. After 6 hours of playing I did notice it did start to get a little warm. If you play for very extended periods of time, the 2 fans it comes with will not be able to keep up with the hot computer parts. Other than that this pc is definitely worth it.

It is a good starter PC but I have already added more RAM (to 16gb) and replaced the GPU because I needed more for what I was doing. The lighting features are pretty cool and it has been treating me well overall.

My GFs gaming rig. HP great company and seems the new gaming comps follow suit. They have name brand cards and a processor which was a very smart choice. We upgrade the memory to 32 GB because 8 def is low for a gaming rig but we knew that at purchase and of course it was on sale and at this time computers parts were hard to get. Covid

Just worked right out of the box, has played any game I've thrown at it so far with no problems. Easy to upgrade, added some extra RAM and it was a very simple process. Recommended for anybody looking for a decent gaming pc, without having to put it together yourself.
