Good value, pain to upgrade
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this laptop a couple weeks ago, knowing that I would be replacing the slow 5400 rpm drive with a 500GB SSD. I have never seen a laptop that is so much work to replace either the hard drive or memory in 25 years of dealing with PC's. You have to completely take the laptop apart with about 20 screws in order to access either the hard drive or memory. What is normally a 10 minute job with one or two screws took several hours of being careful.

Really good Laptop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wasn't really sure about buying this product considering that it didn't had any reviews on it, but since it was on a good price within my budget, I decided to give it a try. I don't regret doing so, the laptop runs Really good, it has really good hard drive, it perfectly meets my demands on what I was looking on a laptop as a indie writer.

C'MON HP!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to replace my 5 yr old pavilion that has a damaged screen and wasn't worth fixing considering the exorbitant amount geek squad quoted me to fix it. It still works perfectly which is why I wanted to stay within the pavilion family. But this machine here is trash, it's much slower than my old pavilion and it drops the internet connection too frequently and crashes when using google chrome, returned this back to best buy and purchased the HP Flyer Red laptop that works like a charm!! Got it on sale for $299 so I ended up saving over a $100 for a much better system!!

Only good as a gift.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Not happy at all. This laptop has more quirky flaws than any laptop should. The mouse pad is annoying. It continuously changes screens and even with the font lock on it still changes font size. The internet speed is hit or miss. It does not have access to the latest wifi "AC" which is good for streaming videos. I purchased it b/c, it had 10x more features for half the price and now I wish I could return it. Oh, screen picture quality is poor.
