Very convenient and easy to use. Love the versatility of going from tablet to laptop. The battery life is my only complaint but it is not enough of a drawback to not buy it.

The processor is only a Pentium but the responce is good. Touch screen is a nice addition. Probably wouldn't be a good gaming machine for your war games but does just fine for solitare and suduku. Battery life is very good. Price was right but still getting use to Windows 8. Light weight easy to carry around. I have droped mine with screen opened and it didn't fall apart. Still works great but don't recommend you drop any computer. Haven't used the screen in the fold back configuration yet but thats a neat additional feature. Would buy another HP after having this one work out so well.

As people who like to travel, my wife and I appreciate having a portable PC with us. In our RV, in hotels or on Cruise Ships, we can usually get internet access. Our previous PC had a failure of the screen and the estimated cost to repair it was nearly the cost of the replacement. Our new PC is smaller., lighter and has newer software. If fits well in to our travel bag, and it makes the TSA checks easier. We plan to use our new PC for many travel occasions.

I purchased this wonderful little laptop for my little sister to use for school. I loved that it was small and lightweight - not to mention that it also has a touchscreen! She loves the laptop and is using it daily now with no troubles. Definitely would recommend this because it is affordable as well as perfect for travel if you want something for school or work.

Love this small compact laptop, exceeds my needs when surfing the net.. Quick and easy to maneuver .. And a plus it's touchscreen, which stupidly I didn't notice til after I bought and played with it at home :) so that was a surprising plus for me. EspecIally at a great inexpensive price!

Bought this for 299.99. I would recommend this computer if you are not into the Google OS of Chromebooks. Worthy pick up for a Window's computer.

I purchased this mainly for shopping and web surfing. I do not have a smart phone so I carry this everywhere I go. Its portable and surprisingly tough. It is packed with lots of useful features and some that will probably never be used. However the basic programs and apps already loaded on to it are great for a beginner.

This computer is very lightweight and easily portable. However the fact that it had windows 8 made it very difficult to use at first.

I LOVE the 2-in-one feature. This is my first laptop and I don't use it often but when I need something portable it fits the bill. Both my home & work computer have a much larger screen so this took me some time to adjust but I can't complain because it was a shocking gift! My next one will definitely have more traditional laptop features though.

Laptop is very lightweight and easy to handle. I like the touchscreen and just how much smaller it is to carry around in school.

I was looking for a convient size to travel and suppliment my up to date Desktop. Purchased another brand of equivelant size that was lighter, but it failed in 13 days was too flimsey. This HP is buuilt to last as case is sturdy, and connectors are high quality. Only downside is spinning hard drive, wish it had a solid state hard drive, battery would last longer. CPU is fast and all systems function well with Windows 8.1 & Office. Windows 8.1 does take a while to figure out, I do miss the old manuals.

It works smooth, light and easy to carry around, the only thing negative is the shorter battery life than similar products

I purchased a 15.6 inch for my personal laptop which is a 2 in1 also, Icore 5 and 8 gig memory which is great but for travel I wanted something lighter and smaller works really well, not quite as fast but serves the need for a laptop/tablet on the go. A must for one who wants a smaller one for travel or just web surfing

The touch screen and flip lid are great features, and it's small size allows it to fit easily in a backpack. Overall it is a good choice for a college student.

This was a gift for my son who really needed a much more portable PC than his old clunky laptop. If functions as a PC and a tablet with its touch screen. He is in sales and it is much easier to carry around, pull up details about his products and easy to operate. HP really did a great job on this one!

I mostly do a lot of reading and writing, as well as watching how to videos and such. The fact that the audio is good and it doubles as a tablet when I need it helps a lot, especially when I don't have room for a laptop or when I'm exhausted and just want to watch a movie without having to hold it.

I bought this computer for my sons who are 12 and 9 years old. They love that they can flip it around and use it in "tablet" mode. For what they are going to use it for, it meets their requirements. I did notice that it does get bogged down if too many applications are open. Overall, I think this is a good 1st computer for someone in Middle School or about to enter high school. Not the best option for someone wanting to play graphic intensive games.
