This is a fairly basic computer, not too many "bells and whistles", but with just enough for those of us who just need something for movies, music, social networking and email. Love the tablet feature and the touchscreen for using/watching on an airplane.

This laptop's small size makes it easy to carry to all my classes at Cambridge and while I didn't expect to use a touch screen, I've discovered that I use it a lot. Folding the screen over to make it a tablet and touching the screen draws less attention from my puzzled classmates than typing and I find this diminishes the allegations of witchcraft. Battery life has been better than I expected. This is important to me as electricity is hard to find in the 17th century. While processing power is not as great as that of larger laptops, it is perfectly adequate for scholastic use. In fact, I can scarcely believe how my studies have advanced from the use of this tool. Even the most challenging physics and math equations are solved instantly. I am confident that my new HP laptop will allow me to outpace my peers and one day become a famous physicist.

This laptop is great and offers a ton of useful features. One of the main features is its ability to fold back and work as a tablet - perfect for airplanes or riding in the car. The touch screen is responsive and works well, and overall this computer is faster than most laptops out there.

I love having a laptop that can also be used as a tablet. I really only bought this laptop to upload all my photos on, but I find myself using it for much more. Great product for the price!

I just bought it on Monday 01/13 and the laptop is good, fair price, good performance and the good thing I could upgrade to 12Gb on Ram, enough space on the HDD 1 TB. Bad thing I don't like too much Windows 8.1 but I can't have everything, right?

I am very happy with this computer the touch screen works well but it did not come with Windows and for the price of the computer I was not happy. However if you have windows from the previous computer you can put it on there no big deal.

This computer was bought for my Mother-in-law by my wife and her sister for her Birthday and she loves it. She hasn't had any problems with it and loves the touch screen. I think the HP is a lot better built than some of the other computers out there, I bought the HP 13 inch for my wife and it has been great.

This is a great, light weight computer that is perfect for a person on the go and who is doing simple computer tasks. The ease of use makes this an ideal computer for those on the go, who need to have their documents at their finger tips!

This computer is a great computer. I had to send this computer back to HP due to a defective hard drive. HP was quick to get the computer fixed and sent back from this. The battery goes out in around 5 hours with maximum usage.

Purchased 2 as gifts for college students. They love the touchscreen, portability and option to set-up as either a tablet or laptop.

This is a great laptop for my 11yr old its touch screen and has the beats audio that she wanted. The size is also the best for her is small yet very functional better than a google chrome and she likes it alot better than her ipad

This laptop is lightweight and easy to use. Great size for travel. The convertible feature makes it very handy for all occasions.

I've had this 2in1 for a couple months now and I love it. The ability to flip it around is great. The keyboard locks so when you have it in tablet mode you don't hit keys accidentally. The only gripe I have is the mouse pad is way too sensitive. I've not figured out how to decrease that. The outside of the laptop scratches easily so you may want to buy a cover for it. I found one on another site and it makes a nice shell on it. The laptop is very responsive with the 500 gig drive, however, I changed mine to an SSD. That was a bit of a task as you have to remove the entire back cover of the laptop. Just take your time when you do it. Takes about 2 seconds to boot from a cold start. There is some flex at the center of the keyboard but you can't have everything. The layout of the keyboard is very natural. I can type very well with it. My hands are medium sized.

Purchased at the beginning of school year for 6th grader. It's easy to navigate, processor is fast enough. No drive but it hasn't been a problem at all. It's very light and sits in your lap easily. The touch screen response is very good as well. He loves it, and I sometimes use it instead of opening my heavier and much larger HP. The only thing that isn't great is the speaker. It sounds like every other laptop. The beats speaker wasn't a selling point for us but I did think it would sound better than it does.

I like the unit. .small light weight. .better than a tablet and meets my needs for light portability...just don't like windows 8

This computer was a replacement for an Acer netbook that crashed while on a business trip. This computer meets my needs for a small laptop. I would love to have a Macbook, but at 1200 to 1600 dollars it is hard to justify. I use this computer when I travel and to display presentations. The screen is smaller than the 11.1 advertised. The computer is slow compared to it's competition and it lacks a vga out, necessitating an adapter from HDMI to VGA, more cost and something else to carry and or break or lose. Perhaps in a few years as projectors are upgraded to HDMI it will come in handy but for now I don't see a use to connect to a television. The Beatw sound is somewhat better than an similar small laptop but not impressive. However for the cost it is competitive to the competition and meets my needs.

great computer/tablet for the price. Touch screen is very nice and responsive.

I am a wildlife photographer. Some of my photos are used for documentation, education and newsletters. This computer handles my photo processing program just fine. Because this computer does not have a DVD drive, I do need to transfer files to another computer so as to save on a disk. Because of the computer's size and weight, I can take it into the field or use it to travel with.

Love the touch screen option. Great little computer. The new Windows system was a little confusing to me, but figuring it out. Perfect size for my small hands.
