I didn't "need" to replace my old LaserJet 5MP, but it was balking at PDFs etc by way of many OS upgrades that were leaving its drivers behind. I ran across this machine on sale, and then found one on Best Buy Online reconditioned at even greater discount. In sum, It looks like new and this thoroughly modern and efficient machine performs--wirelessly--for about half the usual MSRP. The folks at Best Buy were very helpful and got me going with an extra set of ink cartridges. From years ago, I never thought I would afford laser color, duplex printing and scanning/faxing, but the advances in technology and pricing have welcomed me through Best Buy's front door. Thanks.

Some reviews complained about noise and crooked scanning but this machine functioned perfect out of the box and is the quietest LJ I have ever owned (Ok, only owned 4 but just saying...). Print quality is outstanding, startup speed and print speed is fast and I use the auto duplex printing all the time. Toner is pricey but lasts a long time, far more cost effective than ink. I trusted the refurb process since I could return it to the local store if needed. No need to return this printer, it is great and I saved a lot of money.

Was looking for a decent all-in-one color laser printer to replace a series of short lived inkjets. This HP unit fills the need and more. Easy set-up, quick to fire up for use and quality prints make this a must have if you're in the market for an all-in-one color laser printer.

This printer looked brand new right out of the box! Easy to set up, had to call help line for wireless set up they were fast and knew what they were doing. This is an incredible printer no issues at all, great color and B&W copies. Would recommend for small office with limited space, this machine can do it all.

This is a great little printer for general printing. It has fast first-sheet-out speed. It was easy to set up for wireless printing on the wireless network.

Even as a refurb, it works great. It is used hard-wired and wireless in a home environment. The wireless connection needs to be reset if not used on a regular basis. The toners were already loaded and ready to go. The duplicator feature is great for book printing and cutting down on wasting paper. The scanner is crisp and clear. When using the document feeder the paper would go askew. If it weren't for this, it would have rated excellent.

When I received the printer, I couldn't tell it was refurbished if I hadn't known. The printer was very easy to setup. Wireless networking setup was a breeze. Once I put it on a network, I was able to print from all my computers at home in no time. I am very satisfied with both color and gray scale printing speed. Scanner works great from the feeder, and fast. I like the option scan to save to flash drive, but I love the option to directly save the scanned document to whichever computer I want. I have not use all the features of the printer yet. If you need to print a perfect color picture, it will disappoint you, but it wasn't my primary use. I love it so far.

Got it for really good price, check it and found everything perfectly fine. The printing results are impressive. Would recommend it to everyone!

I like the printer but it was kind of deceiving I was looking forward to the apps that let you print out the coloring pages and stuff but after installing it I was told that they had discontinued that but it's still a good printer it prints wirelessly with an iPad or iPhone or android my old printer didn't do that so I guess that's a plus also I like how you can scan straight to a USB I actually scanned to my portable hard drive to save my old photos you can also print via email it gives you a preinstaled email but you can change it I only used it once and it worked good I was away from home and I decided to try it and when I got home the paper was in the slot already

I did a lot of research before buying this to replace my 10-year old Canon copier that finally gave up working. This is everything that I could ask for and I had no problem setting it up as a printer (colored/black and white), scanner, fax......and, of course copier. The hardest to figure out was the duplex function (which is manual), but works well if you follow the instructions in the pdf manual. The menus are intuitive and easy to learn. This is a great machine and I would recommend it to anyone!

Very pleased with the purchase so far. Speed in B&W and Color meets my needs. I love the ability to send print jobs to the printer from any wi-fi connection.

For the money this is a great home printer easy to set up and small enough to put out of the way

Everything is great with this printer so far. I am anxious to see how quickly it uses toner cartridges and how expensive the replacements will be. But so far, it is five-star quality.

In the 7 years that I had an inkjet printer, I easily spent 10 TIMES the purchase price of the printer on replacement ink cartridges. No more inkjet printers! My refurbished HP printer is great, and it's not nearly as pricey as most color laserjets. HP printers are bulletproof, and this one is no exception. There's no way to tell that this is a refurbished unit. It looks and functions as new. I'm very pleased with it.

After getting tired of buying ink cartridges at home, I bought this as an all-in-one for my home. (We have 4 people using it.) It works great and prints very quickly and the quality is perfect. The quality of the print is very important to me. I haven't needed to replace the toner since it is just a couple of weeks old, but, I expect the toners to last a long time and in the long run be a great investment for my family.

Love this MFP. I have use HP products for 30 years and this is by far the best value in todays market.
