The HP Spectre x360 is a great laptop for any college student, especially if you are in software or any type of engineering. Some people complain about the fan and the computer getting hot sometimes, but it is usually due to how many programs you are running, and it isnt as bothersome as some may say. Overall great laptop.

Bought this to replace an older HP Elitebook that I loved, but had gone beyond my ability to keep running (replaced HD with SSD, new RAM, fan, etc.). Wanted something of similar capability but in a smaller unit that I could take into client meetings. This is perfect! Got a great deal on a refurbished, last year's model. I'd say in use it's light for a laptop and slightly heavy for a tablet, but I knew that going in. Fan also runs more than I'm used to, but with onboard graphics that's to be expected. My use is email, office docs, web surfing, financials, etc. so not an issue for me.

One of the best laptops I own Preformance wise with intel i7 16GB memory and 500 SSD. Also my first 2 in 1 laptop. Having the laptop in different position like table makes it easier to watch movies and play music on a narrow dresser or drawer. You can also fold it 360 degrees into a tablet. Comes with black leather sleeve and stylus for the tablet mode. Lighter then 3lbs makes it portable to take with me to work or on a trip less of a task and more of an enjoyment. My only regret is that I picked the wrong color scheme and got silver instead of black and gold. I'm stuck in base so I couldn't exchange or mail the laptop in for exchange.

This laptop is beautifully designed, performance is as great as expected, and it's overall worth the big ticket I'd say. I would recommend this product for all professional environments.

I originally was not looking for the touchscreen or the stylus feature but for the small price difference I am so happy I did! It is lightweight and fun to use.

After a lot of research, I purchased the 13" 2017 Spectre x360 for work. I'm a full-time writer, and I needed a solid machine with good battery life, touch screen and pen, and (most importantly), a fantastic keyboard. This computer delivers across the board. It's been amazing and, paired with a USB 3 hub, it gets the job done as a desktop machine with a second screen or on the go as a mobile computer. Highly, highly recommend.

I love the fast processor and won't ever have anything other than Solid State Drive. Friend at work said that I could have gotten a laptop much cheaper but once he saw this laptop and played with it he is now jealous. Eat you heart out Rob. I know where you can buy one.

I was looking for a 2-in-1 to replace my old heavy laptop. One big consideration was battery life. I am very happy with the HP Spectre. It is very light & versatile.

This is a nice thin lightweight laptop that i don't mind taking with me everywhere. The battery life on it is enough to last me a full day on one charge lasting longer than any other laptop i've had. There's not one thing that i would change about this laptop

I've had my Spectre about 3 months now and have only positive things to say. The speed and screen refresh is quick. Windows 10 works as advertised and I like having multiple windows to work from. I've had up to 8 applications open at one time and haven't noticed any degradation of speed or any latency in accessing or moving between applications. I watch Netflix and TV Anywhere with no latency. It's lightweight and easy to get through the airport screening -- which is a plus since I travel for work quite a bit. I find it a very nice laptop for my home and business purposes.

Got tired of being limited by my iPad so went for a 2in1 laptop. It's working great so far and the only thing I would complain about is the battery life. It's not terrible, but I expected better. Otherwise, it's been a great laptop so far. It's very portable, just the right size for doing real work. It might get 5 stars from me, but Best Buy asks for a review far too early after purchasing something expensive like this that will take time to truly put through its paces. But, like I said, pretty good so far!

Nice compact, lightweight and fast start up due to solid state HD Keyboard is large enough. Screen quality very nice. Geek squad very helpful. So far perfect for work, pleasure and easy to carry on vacation. Long battery life is a pleasure.

I wish that this size computer came in the larger T-byte hard drive models too. I know hard drives are getting smaller and smaller everyday. I have to use a portable 1 T hard drive with it for certain apps that I use.

I absolutely love this machine. I got it to replace a Surface Book that I was using for work, and I like it much better than the Surface. The keyboard is the best I've ever used on a laptop, the battery life gets me through a day on the go (about 8-9 hours), the design is stunning, it's light as a feather, and it boots in just a few seconds. The pen isn't as good as the Surface Pen experience, but that's the only negative so far. Love this thing!

This computer exceeds my expectations! I have had a lot of fun playing around with the programs, and everything has been way better than I could have imagined! I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a tablet and laptop in 1!

Fast, facial recognition, great inking with active pen. Light weight, strong aluminum shell, no bloat on preloaded apps. Best computer I've owned.

Was a little more expensive then a few others but candidly the performance is solid, a quick start up, light and the key board very responsive.
