I debated this purchase but I’m happy I got it. The screen is great and I love the touch screen and pen feature. I’ve never had a flash drive, so I’m impressed with how quickly it turns on and shuts down. My only complaint- I just ran some updates and it seems to be running hotter and a little louder.

This machine is a screamer! I purchased this machine to take on vacation so I could download pictures and videos from multiple cameras and drones. It performed flawlessly. It is light weight and super fast to boot. I recommend this machine for anyone who is in need of a powerful and light solution.

In my one month of ownership, the computer has exceed all my expectations. The lightness and portability have been amazing in taking it to work and back. The battery life is one of the longest i had at least 8 hours no charge. Highly recommended

This laptop had almost all the features I was looking for in a laptop, small compact size for carrying around college, a large SSD, plenty of RAM, touchscreen, a beautiful design, and an i7 processor although not a huge step up from the i5 I had. It is lacking a nice graphics card, but that was something I thought I could live without. I was excited to start using this laptop, but I've been disappointed and at most just ok with it. The first one I bought would not charge. I plugged it in to multiple outlets, but turns out it was broken. Not a good sign so far. I then exchanged it. This laptop gets EXTREMELY HOT, as did the one I had exchanged. I read reviews online and got rid of things that I thought might be overworking the laptop. I even gave it a few weeks to finish up installing everything. The fan never turns off and the laptop is no good for a tablet because I cannot hold it due to the heat! The face recognition is nice, but it doesn't work half the time. The laptop has a nice battery life, but not near what is advertised. You would think for such an expensive laptop, you wouldn't have to worry about it becoming an oven on your lap every time you use it just to browse the internet!
Other than that, the touchscreen works nicely, and the weight I can't complain about. Buy it if you have the money to spend, but otherwise save your money and buy a cheaper laptop that can do what this one can with a little more weight and a lot less heat.

Decided to take a look at the spectre x360 because I didn't like how pricey the surface units were. This laptop is 1k cheaper than the surface book. Runs fast and is very powerful. Highly recommend!

Daughter needed a laptop for college. Settled on this one after looking at several others. Wanted a table-like, fast, and light laptop. Daughter is very happy with it. A little pricey tho.

Well, I was pretty impressed with the laptop when i first got it. Its been a week since I got it. Here are the issues I faced till now, and I cant decide what am I suppose to do. 1. All of a sudden the fan sounds really loud till I switch the laptop off. 2. When I was showing my laptop to my friend , the touch was not working at all,I have to restart my laptop to figure that out if its working or not. 3. Battery drains fast . I charge it 100% , I can get till 5-6 hours thats it which was not expected. Well because all these are temporary I cant judge to return this or keep it. I thought I have to give another try for a week.

Purchased for my daughter in college. She's had Mac's, iPads, etc. This is by far her favorite! She loves the touchscreen, the lightness of it, the stylus, and the various positions she can use it.

I LOVE this laptop. Before, I’d always buy the cheap 300-400 laptops that only lasted 2-3 years but I decided to invest in a good laptop for college. Turns out...this was the best investment I could make. The Spectre x360 is very slim and lightweight making it convienent to bring to class or the library. It also features 360 degree turning which helps when you want to turn it into a tablet or even adjusted at an angle to watch TV without the keyboard in the way. It is very very fast, taking just seconds to start up or shut down. The display is very clear and high quality. The keyboard even lights up too which is beneficial when you are in a dark room. Overall, this laptop has so many features! I’ve been using it for one year and I’ve probably only utilized 1/3 of them...gonna have to do some more exploring this year. The favorite part however is it’s long battery life. My old laptops would only last at most 3-4 hours on 70% brightness but the Spectre can be on 100% brightness and last me throughout my whole day at school or work-probably about like 8-10 hours. My friends and family all talk about how nice my laptop is when they see the speed and quality. I’ve never had any major problems so far. If there is one thing I would suggest to be improved would be it’s overheating problem. This is probably the only issue I have with the laptop which is how it overheats frequently when you have over four tabs/applications open. Thankfully I have always used laptop cooling pads so it hasn’t been too big of a problem for me.

Really could not be happier with this laptop. I'm another recent convert from a decade of using Apple computers and there's just no comparison in the value between the two companies in 2017. I tried a PC right after Windows 10 was released and returned it because of how buggy the operating system was. I can't believe how much better it is now and on this machine. This thing runs like a champ, the keyboard is terrific, the touch screen IS useful and vastly quicker than using any touchpad (or touch bar) for things like scrolling through emails and web pages, and I've enjoyed the flexibility offered by the 2 in 1 form. Sure, it's heavy as a tablet but that's missing the point, which is that the machine and software work extremely well in all modes and gives you a great option whenever you might want it. There's no compromises with this laptop! The pen is a great little addition and HP even threw in a wonderful sleeve that has a holder for the pen right under the flap. I looked at the 15 inch, but despite seeming like a great machine in its own right, this size suits me better and the price can't be beat. Great feeling and looking laptop. Fan noise and heat are on par with the MacBook Air I owned and now no longer miss. Great purchase. No regrets.

I recently had the chance to test out the 13.3-inch model and it's an impressive machine. It runs on an Intel Core i7-7500U dual-core processor, 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB solid state hard drive so everything loads quickly and the response time is great. It uses a 1080p UWVA BrightView WLED-backlit touchscreen and has a thin bezel. The only issue so far is the heating when you run many apps at the same time, being so thing might be a little tricky in this matter

This is a great laptop! I tried a Surface Book first, but returned it within a week. This laptop has all the functionality, and better battery life! I use this laptop for my business, and I do all of my design and editing on it. I can use it all day at the office without plugging in if it is light usage, like internet and 1-2 Adobe programs open. I plug in if I need to use 3 or more Adobe and extensive internet, but I think that is totally reasonable. I really highly recommend this laptop!

It's a great laptop for those on-the-go - super lightweight and doesn't sacrifice functionality.
The tablet function works like a charm, though I wish the pen it came with was more reactive. Sometimes I find myself having to tap harder than usual to select a link or right-click something.
For the specs it comes with, would have ended up paying triple for a Mac. It's a great graphic design laptop for the price.

beautiful laptop that is slim and lightweight. I bought it for college and it is very useful. It's fast, has a good amount of storage, and is very easy to use. I love the backlit keyboard as it is perfect for nighttime use when you don't want the lights in the room on. Also is touchscreen and can bend 360 degrees into tablet mode which is good for watching videos or writing notes. Comes with a stylus pen which works very efficiently. Only reason why I did not give it all five stars is because of four reasons: 1)it can be loud if there is no other sound in the room, 2)the power port sometimes does not connect with the power cord unless if you push it in very tight, 3)there are not many ports so an adapter might be necessary, and 4)this laptop OVERHEATS A LOT!!! (Def recommend getting a laptop cooler). Otherwise, this is a very nice laptop and I would recommend it
