I've been looking for a solidly built 2-in-1 with active stylus support, a full blown (non-Y-series) Kaby Lake i7 processor, 16GB RAM, FHD screen, with Thunderbolt 3 support to use with my Dell TB16 dock. I've found it with the x360, what a machine! Pros: -FAST- Kaby Lake i7 7500, and includes the Samsung NVMe SM961 SSD, one of the best! This thing flies! -Ports/ThunderBolt 3- USB-C port/ThunderBolt 3 port, plus a USB 3.0 port as well. My Dell TB16 ThunderBolt dock works perfectly with this machine, charging the laptop, running all my peripherals and monitors on one single cable. The Intel 620 graphics runs the laptop screen, an external 4K and external FHD monitor perfectly. -Build- Fantastic build quality, great looking too. All aluminum, no flex, solid as a rock. The chrome HP logo on the back of the screen looks classy! -Touchpad / Keyboard / pen- Touchpad is incredibly responsive and customizable via the Synaptics control center/control panel. Keyboard is a joy to type on ... almost feels like a mechanical(?) with excellent travel. The x360 uses the N-Trig digitizer as well, meaning you can use the new(er) Surface Pen as well with customizable eraser / top clicker. -Webcam- Above the screen, great image quality. Windows Hello enabled! I look at my computer to log in. It's that simple. -Price- Wow. This is a lot of high quality computer for very little $$$ ... AND it comes with an active pen and very nice sleeve case! -Battery- It gets me through a full day of meetings with plenty of life left. I would guess around 12-13 hours with light to moderate usage, but hard to say as I haven't come close to running it down yet. -Power to weight ratio- This is a LOT of computer in a very small space! Cons: -Screen- FHD screen has some uneven backlighting, mostly noticeable at the top edge of the screen. The display is very slightly darker at the top 5-10mm all the way across. Friends/family do not notice it, most people probably wouldn't notice it. I'm very picky with screens. -Pre-loaded software- A TON of HP branded software/help/support stuff installed by default ... didn't seem too intrusive, but still... there was a lot, I uninstalled most of it, as I don't need the support stuff and don't want to have to worry about keeping installed software I don't use up to date and secure. I check regularly for driver/firmware updates from both HP and Windows/Microsoft. The cons weren't enough for me to knock a star off. This is a winner of a machine, and there are no 2-in-1s out right now that can even come close to these specs in the 13" form factor at this price. If you're looking for a nearly perfect 2-in-1 laptop, this is it! The 4K version looks great too, but wanted a little extra battery life so decided on the FHD version.

I love my new HP Spectre x360 convertible laptop. This is the first laptop I've had made by HP. This is also the first SSD storage I've ever used. With 16GB of memory, combined with the 500GB SSD storage, this laptop screams! It boots in seconds and I am able to run many concurrent applications including video editing and karaoke song hosting without any slowing down. I love the size of the 13" screen as I travel and meet customers in my office or at their homes. I have tried the touch screen and stylus a few times and they seem really cool. I look forward to integrating them into my work processes on a greater scale. I have recommended this laptop to a friend and she bought it today!

I have been using my HP X360 2 for over three months now, and I absolutely love it. It has the best combination of hardware for the money you can find. I specifically didn't buy the 4k model as I didn't want the extra battery drain and I don't use any 4k TVs so it would not be beneficial to me. The traditional HD display is amazing and crystal clear. This laptop is very powerful and fast. Boot time is simply amazing, power button to running in 5 seconds. I also purchased a thunderbolt adapter with VGA/HDMI/USB/Ethernet so that I get all the extra feature I need with this ultra thin, ultra light PC. The touch screen is also flawless, and I must say the pen works great as well, only minor noticeable lag when drawing.I would absolutely recommend this laptop to anyone looking for the best all around laptop for the money.

I had an older HP Envy touchscreen (17 in) that I was using for work and school. I loved HP and the touch options so I decided on the HP - Spectre x360 2-in-1 13 - its been awesome. So easy to transport and light weight. Great power in this machine too! I am trying to talk my husband and mom into buying them for themselves now I love it so much!

This is a nice looking laptop and it's light. The pen that comes with it works well with the laptop. Unfortunately the fan noise and the overheating on the left bottom are just unbearable. I like the HP brand. Hope they can fix these problems.

I bought this for photo editing and travel. I was not expecting a high end model but wanted far from low end. This was a great "budget" laptop (I use that loosely because I realize it is on the expensive end of being considered budget) and is more than capable of what I need. The touch screen with a stylus is an amazing new way to complete my post-processing and I have really come to prefer my stylus to the track pad and even to a traditional mouse. Tablet mode is great when I don't have a lot of space or just want to lounge on the couch. Overall, a great purchase for the money and definitely recommended.

I bought this for a great price, its a really nice laptop but it over heats and has an issue with the fan, I have had 3 of these. I am not sure what the issue is. It does have a really nice set of speakers.

Love this laptop so far...very lightweight yet seems durable and with specs installed it operates quickly. No issues this far other than seemed to heat up a bit when dowloaded/updated alot of programs, but not always hit. Very slim design and touchscreen and tablet mode are great.

The Spectre Computer is light and easy to use. The keyboard and touchscreen are very light to the touch. The only thing I don't like is the keyboard letters are impossible to see in certain light. Otherwise it is a fantastic product.

Over the years, I had been carrying around a 17" monster of a laptop. When the time came to downsize, I read the reviews, did the research and settled on the HP Spectre. I couldn't be happier. HP Quality, fast startup, SSD drive, and lightweight. No regrets at all!

So excited with this new laptop! My old one was ancient and this makes me feel much more tech savy. The 13" screen is perfect, it weighs next to nothing and I liked the carrying case that came with it for no additional cost. Also, the free ink pen was cool too :)

Overall, this is a good multipurpose laptop. Sufficient power for what it does and comes with good size SSD. The battery life turns out to be excellent. The display is just HD, but for its size it is more than enough. It comes with an active pen, that is useful.

In the short time I've had this laptop, I've been very impressed with it. Its speed is sufficient for all work applications and most gaming. It's lightweight and durable, with solid battery life. I haven't used tablet mode a lot, but from what I've seen, it's very intuitive. The only drawback I've noticed is that the facial recognition camera doesn't work very well in low light. I find myself entering my pin more often than I'd like. But, all in all, I'm very pleased.
