After 2 previous 2019 models failing to deliver, having a functional computer is great! So far the battery life is solid and the pen functions well.
Issues:
- Camera quality is SIGNIFICANTLY worse than older models. (New smaller frame may be part of the issue but the quality is horrible regardless) **This is my main complaint**
- No place to store charging cord for the rechargeable pen (why wouldn't the case even come with a pocket?!) -
- Some minor lag in Photoshop CC (single layer, new document, only program open, default blending brush, single continuous stroke). Worried about what this bodes as the computer ages.
- Smaller physical case size means if you touch the edge of your computer to tilt it back there's 0 room between your finger and the actual screen. Sounds cool until you keep accidentally closing your windows.
Pros:
- Pen is rechargeable (no more finding AAAA batteries!)
- Battery life is pretty stellar (compared to Surface Pro 4, previous computer).
- Drawing on the tablet screen is amazing. I have had little issue switching between my wacom tablet and this.
- Screen clarity is awesome!
Neutrals (I don't care but may influence others):
- Old pen does not work on new computer.
- Extra pen nibs are in a sticker covered hole in the pen box. Would have been nice if they could be stored in the pen itself (might be too much bulk) or if the case came with a storage spot)
- If you want to use the keyboard while drawing, there's no way to lock your screen at a certain angle to draw and use keyboard shortcuts simultaneously. Tablet works best when fully bent backwards.
- Very glossy screen, unsure if there are matte screen protectors available to help reduce glare and provide a more pleasing drawing surface.

Love this computer! Easy to use and is super fast when loading up. I haven't downloaded much on the computer besides Sims4 and Photoshop and they work really fast and don't take forever to load up. Touch screen is good and it came with a stylist pen! It is a bit heavy if you're looking for a 2 in 1 but I don't use the tablet side of it very much. Overall great product!

Phenomenal laptop that does more than I could ever imagine. Excellwnt for muktitaskers! The touchscree function is very sensitive. Great sound and lightweight. My purchase said the color was ash but it was really the black and rose gold which is what they call ash.
My only con for this product is the lack of USB ports.

Got a decent Black Friday deal for this laptop. It’s very fast and reliable; I use it for school and a little bit of gaming on most games with medium settings. Overall a good laptop mainly if you need it for work or school; I would say it’s still a little bit pricey even with the deal I got, but usually most laptops with specs like this one ends up having to spend over a $1000.

Look no further, this incredible piece of equipment is the laptop for you. I used it for streaming videos/movies, working on projects for work, and regular online browsing. The computer is very nice to look at, beautiful bright display, lighted keyboard and easy to use. Setup was very intuitive and went well, and I was soon set up and connected. My main issue with this computer was the fact that it would not stay connected to the internet--constantly dropping the wi-fi connection for no apparent reason. Not acceptable! I was on the phone with Best Buy Geek Squad, HP Customer Support and even my internet provider for hours. We deleted and reinstalled the Intel network card driver, changed some other settings several times, but nothing helped. I finally made an appointment and went to the Best Buy store in person. The Tech person was very nice and deleted some malware. A bit better when I got home, but not fixed. Finally I searched the internet for the exact model of my network card, found brand new driver on the Intel website (apparently someone finally realized current driver didn't work) and installed updated driver. That was it! Huge hassle, but works great now.

The HP Spectre x360 15 is a great product with one USB-C port and a Wifi 6 (supporting ax 802.11ax) chip (not super clear on Bestbuy’s description page). It fits my daily design need very well and runs the Adobe suites blazingly fast. This awesome pre-Black Friday deal comes in the standard Spectre package, which contains the HP pen and a leather bag. The trackpad also supports Microsoft Precision Touchpad, so the multi-gestures works great which differs from some older reviews you would find online.
A minor complaint though is that the trackpad is located to the left (centered to the main keyboard above excluding the num pad), so its not always easy for the right-handed to click the left button. Nevertheless the piece is a nicely designed, solid-built working laptop at a great price so I have no complaints so far.

Love this HP Spectre. Love the raised keys, backlight on the keys if needed, when needed, the touch screen is handy, speakers are great, and resolution is fantastic. The only downside is there is only one USB port, so if you need more than one, you will need a USB hub. Overall great design and performance.

The HP Spectre x360 2-in-1 15.6 Ultra HD Touch Screen Laptop is by far the absolute best laptop I have ever owned. It is fast, precise, great images. I love the SSD. As soon as I open it up, the screen comes right up and it is ready to go! The battery life is fantastic! Highly recommended!

I have had no problems, HP customer service has been good with an issue that was my fault. Seems to be working as fast as I need, battery life is solid. Bought an HP because Dell didn't cut it. All is well thus far.

The only bad thing about this laptop is it's keyboard and mouse placement. The keyboard is skewed towards the left, meaning, you are not resting your palm symmetrically.
Good:
- Performance is amazing
- Screen is 4K and topnotch
- Bang & Olufsen speakers are neat
Bad:
- Keyboard and mouse layout
- Only 1 USB port

This is an incredibly fast, uniquely designed, and did I mention fast?
I hated having to return this but the project I purchased it for was scrapped and I just couldn’t afford the price. I found an ASUS I love but the Spectre is AMAZING. Best unboxing experience ever. The included accessories are very choice.

This computer has not disappointed in the 2 months I’ve had it. I have no complaints. The battery life is humongous-even when streaming video for hours, the speed is fantastic, booting up takes seconds, and it is so quiet you cannot tell it’s even in half the time.

I transferred from LG gram (which is my life goods!) to this one. The weight is much heavier of course, but so far I am satisfied with its performance. Especially the speaker sound is super! And I love the external design. All basic software works well too!

I bought this for my wife to telework during coved-19th for $1600 from Best Buy. Compare the same specs to any other brand in the same price range, and this will outshine many. Touch screen is super set up to navigate the most complex sites and you can even turn the laptop inside out and use it just like an iPad or tablet to watch movies etc. So many features it’s unreal such as ssd and great sound system. I also bought an Apple with similar specs but it was $1100 more, and no touch screen, though I know that’s apples way. HP is still the king to me in home pc and laptops.

Disclosure: Purchased the laptop for $1,099 on sale. That is the price the laptop would be a great value at
Amazing laptop when it comes to the build quality and design. I love the sharp edges that give it a slick look. The laptop comes with the updated 10th generation Core i7 processor from Intel, which means better power efficiency and greater battery life. At least on paper.
The ultra high definition screen is absolutely gorgeous. Although I must add that the "ultra" part of it is a bit unnecessary. A human eye is unable to discern pixels on a 15.6" from a normal viewing distance. Unless you are looking at the monitor from 5 inches away, you won't notice any pixels even on a Full HD screen. The 4K display, however, means less on-screen time for you.
Some thermal issues have been encountered on occasions. But friendly HP support has resolved them quickly.
I give this laptop a 9 out of 10

Performance is great, and has been trouble free. Tablet mode with pen is great for users that find it hard to move from paper and pen to technology. Only downside is the limited number of USB ports - easily remedied with a portable expansion device.
