I love this laptop. It is fast and easy to use. It has one USB port... I wish it had more. I also wish it had an ethernet port so I could hardwire into my router for faster speeds when I need to. I have been unable to find a USB to ether converter that is compatible with Windows 10.

So this laptop is well built. Feels very premium. Screen is really nice. I had issues with the nvidia mx250. It wasnt working. I had to go through so many steps to remove the driver and reinstall it to get it working. Finally got that settled. This laptop runs quite warm. The CPU jumps up to 100c like it's nothing. The fans take their sweet time kicking in. Even just surfing the web or watching videos/movies the CPU jumps around the 85c area. Battery life is pretty good. Normal use/idling I can get maybe 7 to 8 hours. I play Runescape and I get about 2 hours out of it. Now this is just me and my preferences.. the keyboard backlight ONLY stays on for 30 seconds after you touch the trackpad or the keyboard itself. There is NO way (not even in the bios) to change that setting. I find that completely asinine. Again build quality is superb. I got it during the black friday sales. I definitely wouldnt pay full price for it. Only time will tell if there are other issues

This thing is beautiful! All aluminum, 4k display, illuminated keyboard, Intel processor 10th generation 16 gb ram touchscreen and pencil. I love it! 100% recommend!!!

Great computer, Disappointing graphics card. For a higher end computer you would think that it would have a higher quality graphics card suitable for using with virtual reality headsets. It slightly works but doesn't keep up with the speed needed to enjoy the VR experience. The price point of this machine is equivalent to a gaming pc and everything meets or exceeds the VR requirements EXCEPT the graphics card. Very DISAPPOINTING!! I gave this 5 stars because aside from the ability to properly play a VR game experience, it is a great computer. The appearance is exceptional, the packaging was impressive, and it has all of the other features that I wanted in a system. I just wish that they didn't cheap out on the graphics card. If they would be willing to upgrade my graphics card, I would give this 10 stars.

Love the design and its very fast. HP included a sleeve in the box and i really love that the little things matter to them. This is definitely a great buy and i am loving it so far.

I'm in love with my laptop! The ash and gold tones are gorgeous. The 360 angle allows me to use it as a tablet. The programs run smoothly at a high speed. The pen is a plus! I love the number keyboard as well. Thanks HP

Unfortunately, my gaming laptop was involved in a burst pipe flood. I needed a replacement in a hurry and this was the best thing in the store at the time. I still miss the heft of my gaming laptop, but this touchscreen and lightweight laptop is winning me over.

It's a well built designed laptop. Fast as a bullet, runs like Husein Bolt! All aside. Well built fast, can work any apps with ease. Very happy with this machine. HP hit it well.

I'm a Mac user that has to own a PC for work reasons. This is by far the best laptop I've owned to date. Lightweight, large screen, number pad, touch screen. It's great.

Nice laptop, I bought it for my wife because the is a grant writer and does some light design work. She also manages our budget and will regularly have several applications open at the same time. Bonus, my son loves hooking it up to the TV and playing games on it via Xbox Live and I was shocked by how well it runs games. I am not really into all the deep breakdown of specs, but this has a high quality CPU, GPU, Screen, RAM and keyboard. I've had no issues with updates and HP did update some drivers but I had no issues keeping everything current. Spend the money if you want something that can handle work and play at a high level. It's not a budget laptop and the price and performance speak for themselves.

this laptop has, by far, the best hardware for this pricepoint. even though the $500 off deal for black friday is the reason i bought this laptop, i had to buy it three separate times, and all three had hardware defects. long story short: the case on this model has a problem of buzzing when the speakers get too loud. if you put pressure on the case to cushion the impact of the buzzing, the problem goes away completely. however, that means your speakers will become almost unlistenable at higher volumes if you just leave it sitting normally on a surface. i didn't realize that until the third time buying it, but that's still a defect as far as i am concerned, because nobody else who i know that owns this laptop has had this issue. the first one i bought had this problem as well a dead pixel. exchanged it for a new one. the second one i bought had the same problem, but the speakers sounded even worse. people on the internet suggested that just a BIOS update or driver update would fix it, but it did not. this was happening even in HP's hardware diagnostic tool (not in windows). exchanged it for a new one, two weeks later. the third one i bought had the same problem as well as a bouncy touchpad, so just tapping (which is supposed to be silent) is almost as loud as a full click. also, this one had a screen with much worse pixel refresh rates than the previous two (mouse cursor has visible trails when moving it across the screen), something that Linus Tech Tips mentioned in their review of this laptop earlier this year. i am guessing it is just an inconsistency in the panels being used, because this was the only one with this problem. another issue that may not be important to some (but is a dealbreaker for me) HP's UEFI seems to only boot into windows, which makes it much harder to dual boot with linux if that is something you may want to do. not impossible, but it will make your life harder overall, if you are willing to deal with some of these problems/inconsistencies, then this laptop's hardware specs are still unbeaten at this price. it's why i tried three times to buy it! but the speaker problem, the bouncy touchpad, the slow screen, and the UEFI problems i had on the last one were enough to make me just return it and wait for a different laptop to go on sale. if you're not as picky as i am, this is still a good purchase, just not for me

I love this computer. I like that the lighted keyboard turns off when not used for a little while to conserve power. It is super fast and is very sturdy. The display is amazing and bright.

You had a good price on this computer at Thanksgiving. I bought it for my wife to use and so far she is very impressed. Jose in your geek squad set it up with new software. It is working well so far.

Okay, maybe not the best laptop but a very good laptop for the money. The speed is incredible. One con is there is only one USB and one HDMI port. The pro is that you can purchase more Bluetooth accessories as the range is incredible.

I decided to jump back onto the HP bandwagon after having a disastrous experience with an HP over 10 years ago. This 2 in 1 has so many of the features that I was needing in a laptop for work. I didn't go after the OLED screen display because it was around $500 more. However, I am very happy with the screen resolution on this 4K screen. The touch screen is a nice added feature and drawing on the screen is easy. The supplied digital pen is lackluster but happy it came with something. The downside is that it doesn't come with WIndow's Pro. I ended up having to install it after purchase which wasted around $100. Overall the laptop adds a lot of value for the price.

I was looking for a laptop to supplement and eventually replace my 4 year old desktop. I found it in the HP Spectre. This laptop is light, beautiful (an extravagance), fast, reliable and easy to modify. I can think of no criticism. I taught computer science, built and repaired computers and have used a personal computer since 1984. This laptop is my favorite overall. I recommend it without reservation after 6 weeks of use. I do not play online games but other than that, I have put the Spectre through it's paces. I am sastisfied.

Fast. Long Battery life, I love the fact that it can go from laptop to tablet and the pen in included. Took me a minute to find the on and off button (minor) Only has 1 usb and hdmi port.

Bought this laptop for my girlfriend and she loves it. Super fast has great specs for day to day use and for business. Lightweight as well which is a plus with always carrying it around.

So far it’s the beat laptop ever ! It’s a beauty it has it all ! I didn’t know how to turn it on it took me 5 mins to figure it out. I never owned a touch screen, it’s pretty amazing
