I bought this keyboard so that I could output my display to a larger monitor and type without having to reach sideways to my laptop, as well as to be able to have a physical keyboard around when using my laptop in tablet mode (I have a tablet PC). Buyers should be aware that this keyboard is smaller than most. While I am glad that it saves space on my desk, it also took a few days to get used to typing on it. The right shift button is not much larger than the other regular keys, and if one reaches too far, one could end up accidentally pressing the "up" arrow instead. The action of the keys is average. They are not mushy, which I like, and they don't rattle very much, which is good. On the other hand, they can feel a bit shallow, and they make a bit more noise than I had expected. I find them just a tiny bit too "punchy" for my taste. The trackball is a nice addition for times when you can't reach the mouse, but it's not easy to be accurate with it, and it requires both hands to operate because the mouse buttons are on the whole other side of the keyboard. You can't click the ball, and unlike the trackpads on most laptops, you can't just swipe it to scroll. It's adequate for occasional use, but you'll probably want to keep your mouse close by. I am glad that the trackball saves space over a touchpad, but sometimes I wonder whether I should have gotten a keyboard with a touchpad instead. The main good things about this keyboard are that it's small, wireless, and has a built-in substitute for the mouse. However, I would not use this as one's main keyboard unless space is an issue on your desk.

I bought this keyboard so I could do movie streaming and search the internet on my TV. It works great and it is easy to use. Plug and play with no software to install on your computer. If you are going to use this keyboard to write letters, then this might not be the keyboard for you. It is small and the integrated mouse need two hands, but it does the job. This keyboard was designed for multimedia and video streaming. If that’s what you are going to use for, this is the keyboard for you.
