    Extremely Disappointing – Buyer Beware!

    We bought the Barbie Scooter for our daughter, and while she initially loved it, the experience quickly turned into a nightmare. We charged it the night before her birthday, only for it to refuse to work the next day when she tried to ride it. After charging it even longer, we were ready to return it, but it magically started working as we loaded it into the car. Deciding to give it a chance, we held off returning it and went out of town. It functioned for three whole uses over two weeks. Then the real problems began. The scooter started dragging and wouldn’t move forward despite the motor running but very loud. By then, we were past the return window, so we contacted the manufacturer for help. They sent us replacement parts (battery and controller) that were not only broken but clearly used. Why would anyone trust their kid’s safety with broken used parts? Especially when the scooter is practically brand new! The replacement parts also don’t come with any instructions and lots of scary warning that if you are not an experienced electrician, or the parts are replaced it can cause a fire. To make matters worse, they told us their warranty only covers replacement parts, and apparently, that means USED ones. We’re currently waiting on a reply from Hyper after demanding new parts, but the entire process has been a frustrating, infuriating mess. This was an incredibly expensive purchase, and it’s beyond upsetting to be stuck with a product that does not work, can’t be returned, and can’t even be fixed properly. Not to mention I have a very sad kiddo who asks every day when will her scooter work. I honestly don’t think it will be fixed or replaced. I certainly can’t just buy another one and can’t be sure that new one would be any better. I wish I had listened to the reviews on other sites—this scooter is a waste of money. That should get the point across!

    Faster than what I expected but my daughter loves it. She is 6 by the way and controls this thing very easily and responsibly
