I think that percussion technology has been proven as successful over the last years and Hyperice is a reference in the sector with its Theragun. I can confirm that if you are visiting a physical therapist you can see the most practical example of medical endorsement because you probably will find one of those devices. In my case, as a regular runner and 50 y-o guy dealing with sore body and muscles, I always being attracted to this technology. By doing some research, you can see that the literature in the sector describes the Hypervolt as one of the best and the quietest one. One week of tests confirm several of my assumptions with this device that is my new favorite friend after a long run: 1.- This is a powerful machine that delivers a super focus massage in the targeted area. The fact that is so ergonomically well designed and so light makes all the difference. You can apply the massage in the right direction, I mean that the “impact” is being exactly directed in the desired muscle zone instead of having to deal with a rebound of your hand. 2.- The five head attachments are key to determine the impact and the effect and complemented with the speed and intensity you could make the difference between a relaxing massage or a heavy-duty session over tight muscles. I personally appreciate the small carry bag to store the four heads that are not being in use. 3.- A big battery that could keep for days of more than an hour session per day 4.- Easy and quick to charge the battery. 5.- Three speeds that control the power that you plan to deliver to your sore muscles. 6.- Confirmed!, this is super quiet. 7.- The app and the Bluetooth connectivity of this particular model require an especial mention. In my opinion, the big barrier in the past to invest in this device WAS the need for an educated understanding of how the massage should be correctly applied, what head to use and how the muscle should be “percutted” or your body position while you receive the massage. This version and the connectivity between the Hypervolt and your IOs device is basically bringing a private coach that visually explain how your hands should be moving to deliver the perfect work. The app, easy to download and configure connects directly (Bluetooth) with your Hypervolt and in function of the selected video, determine the speed and duration of the program when the play is launched. I like that when you are deciding the routine that you plan to have, in the same app, among all the available videos you can filter for the ones available to your particular device to be sure that is applicable to your technology. After that, you just really need to follow the actions in the video in front of you with your hand and the machine and the app do all the rest. This is awesome! Based on all the above I decided to rate it with four stars. The lack of one is because I think that I would like the app being able to have some more massage routines (I hope that some regular updates will add more) and I wish that the app is also available for android devices, currently is only available for IOs. I recommend it if you have an IOs device.

It took a few tries to get accustomed to this massage device because it is really powerful, but WOW. It really works. I find that it's best to sometimes put a towel between me and the massager because the vibrations can be intense until you get accustomed to it. But I love it and it is a game-changer!

Great product. Actually does what they promise. I’ve had several massage products which were not effective. The Hypervolt does the job. It’s solidly built, has variable speeds, and doesn’t beat he crap out of you like other products. It has taken the knots out of tough spots like my hamstrings, as well as tender areas around my neck. Really great!

My physical therapy center uses this machine and Consumer Report gave it a good rating. I tried it, found it to be helpful, and just purchased it and used it on 12/4/2021. I then purchased one for a relative that is how much I liked it. I have only used the attachment that was attached (not yet tried the other attachments). The instructions should be better and there should be videos like other brands have on how to use the machine; plus, I am not sure how to remove the attachment since the instructions do not indicate; I will either ask my PT or call the help center. I did try and turn and pull, but to no avail (removed one star - lack of video and instructions on how to remove an attachment). Although it is reported at 2.5 pounds, it becomes tiring to hold. It is nicely packed, but I would like to have received a case to travel with it. It is expensive even with the sale price and using reward points, but I will know if it is a good value after I have used it for at least one year (removed 1 star - pricing high).

I once tried this at my chiropractor appt and decided to purchase one. Was debating between hypervolt and theragun, and have heard so many great reviews on hypervolt. This product is amazing! So great for recovery, does the job and not as loud nor does it make your hands vibrate. I would definitely recommend getting this

Unbelievable!!! I've been dealing with lower back pain due to hip, hamstring, and quad tightness. I've also had issues with knots in my upper back and traps. This machine is a dream! Will loosen everything up and the app teaches you how to use it and even controls the strength. Give this a try! You won't regret!

I have bought many other so called percussion message devices that have failed to deliver what it promises. This device right here is awesome in getting out deep knots. My two sons also love using it after a day of soccer training. They say that they don't wake up with sore muscles when ever they use it the night before

Suffering of muscle spasms after work I was looking for a device I could use to alleviate the soreness. The Hyperice Hypervolt Bluetooth was the best gift I could offer myself. With the possibility to adjust the speed and vibration, now I can rely on my Hyperice for a wonderful relaxation time after a long day at work.

I received the percussion massage device as a surprise Christmas gift from my husband. He thought it'd be helpful for my restless legs and it truly does calm them, along with the multiple attachments for use on the back and shoulders. Its very durable and sturdy to withstand hard pressure. I love it!

Definitely a must have for those who are active to the point that severe muscle aches ensue. There is significant relief from soreness and stiffness after just a few minutes. Initial cost seems high but definitely worth the cost. Improves body functionality so that you can tackle additional activities.

I'd originally bought this for my own back issues, but I'm just too bony for it to work properly, so I gave it to my son to use on his sore muscles, and he's been extremely pleased with it. He says it helps with his workout soreness and has some impressive battery life.

Just like it was described on the web site, this hypervolt is quiet enough to soothe and work out those tight muscles. I like to use it after my heavy workout or when I wake up with a creak in my neck or shoulder. I use all the attachments and I like it very much.

I have used on myself and a few others and we all have the same conclusion. it causes you to itch if you use in one spot. you cant roam with it either because its too aggressive for near joints. Wouldn't suggest you get over a foam roller. maybe this isnt for lean people. The quality is good. doesnt feel cheap has some weight too it. all modes are powerful maybe too much. simple to use .
