My gripes are that sometimes the mic doesn’t pick up a lot of my voice in some situations, and that the headphones are quite loose for me.

Back then, I auditioned Stax electrostatic headphones. These sound better, at a tiny fraction of the cost.

Doesn't sound like a basic headset

Definite upgrade over her old one. I test drove it myself first and the overall sound and spacial sound is pretty good for the sale price.

I like the Stinger series, but I did prefer the first iteration's cut off cord being more toward the middle of the entire cord rather than right at the splitter.
