Grandson loves them and says they're better than what he had (of course they are, the others wer covered in duct tape)... So there ya go!

I will update this when and if this kick the bucket. Also. I give Best Buy the best overall warranty process but the WORST in store inventory. I went into the store here in California of all places and you would think it was just looted. But it was not. No Xbox headphones, no headphones period for gaming. I down graded from 89.99 head set to 69 99. Still it is what it is.

It has great sound quality and the noise cancelling built-in feature is great. You hear sounds as if you are actually there. I suggest buying the Xbox adapter with it (sold separately) and it's easier to use the mute function and adjust the volume levels between chat and game play. Great headset, highly recommend for online game play.

I purchased a $200 wireless headset and returned it for this one due to the connectivity issues of the wireless one. The only issue with this one is that the volume is so loud it bounces off of the mic, so people in a party hear the echo of themselves. An easy fix is to turn the volume down on the headset or the Xbox settings.
