Excellent value, but a few issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this PC on sale for $150 off, regardless, it's got plenty of bang for your buck. Runs my older games (like Minecraft) at hundreds of FPS easily. Unless money is no object, I recommend getting a 1080p monitor, because 1440 or 4k might be a bit much for the latest games at max settings. This PC came with several issues, however. One side panel is nearly impossible to put on due to a bulge of cables. Regardless of whether it's intentional, it seems haphazard and potentially damaging. I discovered the front audio ports are poorly connected to the motherboard, and if you are playing with a mic/headset combo, you'll need to buy a splitter, as it only supports separate channels. I proved that Windows files arrived (or quickly became) corrupted with a scan after the menu would not open and the clock desynchronized months into the future regularly. If you're willing to deal with these minor technical issues, this model is a great way to start (or upgrade!) a gaming rig. Be sure to buy speakers and Ethernet cables as well.
