The wife and I shopped 9 different stores and found this one to be the best one for the price. To start off it DOES NOT have 3 shelves as described. Better yet, it has 5 shelves not counting the bottom of the freezer to store items. The inside width is 16" and 15 1/2" deep so it will fit most sizes of frozen pizza, yes that was a concern. Very quiet, and freezes well at the "normal" setting, ( it also has "Max." , "Super" and "Low") I like the upright freezer for the main reason you don't lose last months purchase on the bottom nevr to be seen untill you dig through to throw items out. Everything is ver visible and easy to access. Downside.. Only downside I see is that it is a manual defrost, and it only comes in white. But for around $200 I can live with that. I would recommend this freezer to a friend or anyone.

Purchased for son and daughter in law. They had limited space but wanted a freezer for storing fresh vegetables. The price was excellent. I was also excited about the fact that the freezer was upright. It had plenty of storage space, seemed well laid out and was advertised as frost free and energy efficient. I even purchased the extended 2 year warranty - in case of any issues. After 7 days, the top half of freezer quit working entirely. We were very disappointed and had to return the item to the store. We decided not to get another one based on the short life of this one.

Gave out in under 2 years. It's small size works well for my application. worked well, while it worked.

I really wanted an upright freezer for my girlfriend who cooks a lot and would have trouble sorting through a chest freezer (she's 5 ft tall). The freezer works well so far (1 month) and was on sale for the same price as a slightly smaller chest freezer. Similar, higher quality upright freezers go for more than twice the price of this model so I was willing to take the gamble. After reading through the other reviews, I decided to go back and purchase the 2 yr Geek Squad coverage. It sounds like this model has a pretty high failure rate at approximately 1 yr and the Geek Squad coverage is the way to go. Keeping my fingers crossed that I won't have any issues, but I have confidence that Best Buy/Geek Squad now has me covered. I would only recommend picking this model up if you choose to purchase the Best Buy/Geek Squad warranty coverage. The factory warranty is worthless and costs more to have repaired (you have to pay to ship it to them) than it does to purchase the first time.

I don't have any complaints. It's a pretty basic freezer. I love the size I could get for the money. Some of the deep freezers around the same size were much more expensive. I also like not having to search down inside a deep freeze. The shelves are spaced well and I can fit a lot in it. I like that it's tall instead of wide so takes up less room.

Take my advice and read all reviews before you purchase. The is not a a good quality product. It runs all the time and the freezer iced over inside. I would NOT recommend this to anyone. If I could find my receipt, this would be returned.

when we received freezer we had a lot of frost build up in a short time. we found that there had been a different screw put in to hold door. it made it so the door would not close in the correct position. we then decided to change the way the door hung. it was successful, however it should not have been done that way for a new appliance.

Bought this freezer as a birthday gift to my mother since she lives in a small apartment. Great size for an apartment. Freezer did not work properly from the get go. Would not seal at the top of the door. Called Igloo numerous times and they give my mother solutions to solve the problem but none of them woked. Tried to send the freezer back to Igloo because it was under warranty, but Igloo says you have to pay the shipping back to them. I wound up taking it back to Best Buy to get my money back and and bought her a different kind. Lots of problems with this freezer.

I bought this freezer to put in the garage to store extra items. It is just the right size and does what I need it to do and it was on sale!!! It has three shelves and can hold enough food for a family of four if you transfer your meat out of the package into freezer bags.

We were looking for a smaller freezer that didn't take up a lot of space - and this freezer works perfectly. There are a lot of shelves for convenient storage and it serves its purpose if you are looking for something in the lower price range.

I bought this unit because of the small size and the price. We plugged it in and it completely iced up within a few hours. The reason is that the door does not shut properly which in turn happened because the magnetic gasket on the door does not engage properly. I was afraid to get another one because it may have the same problem. There seems to be a quality control problem. I returned it and got my money back

Very dissapointed. So much frost within 24 hours that I can't imagine a month of operation. I am taking this back to the store. Don't buy!

This up right freezer is perfect for my small apartment where I am limited on space. Takes up less space than the same Cubic feet chest freezer.

I have had this freezer for about a month. So far so good. Love the size as I have limited space. It stores a fair amount and it is easy to organize and locate items as needed.

This freezer is a very good buy for the price. If is an upright that can fit in most spaces.

This little freezer keep items cold has good space for small needs and the price could not be beat anywhere for a new item.

First freezer delivered died after 6 days ruining all the food. We paid around $175 for the freezer and the geek squad plan was well over $100 so it seemed like a bad deal to buy the extra warranty. Well, neither Igloo nor Best Buy would cover the cost of the food without the extra warranty but at least the new freezer is working. I don't have great confidence that the unit will last and like I stated above it makes a lot of noise. Not bad in an unfinished basement where I keep it but think twice if you are concerned about noise. I guess you get what you pay for but in this instance I expected a little more.

Great little freezer, both price and size worked out perfect. Working great so far, will see in the long run

small footprint easily fits into area available, reasonable price.
