Posted .We apologize for that minor inconvenience. The plug must be connected to 2.4 GHz network. It is not compatible with 5GHz.

Modern day "Clapper"

I'll be sitting down and want the light on or off but my phone might be in the other room. If I had the "Clapper", I wouldn't have this problem. Otherwise it's a great fun toy for me!

Posted .There is a remote control available for the iSP6 plug. You can keep the remote in the same room and would not need your phone to control the plug.

Didn’t work for what I wanted

Looked like the switch itself would turn on but not what was plugged into it. Once on it would turn off appropriately. The light to show it is on is very bright. I had to cover it with tape. Disappointed but maybe it will work somewhere else.
