Up and running on ihome, samsung smart things and I can tell Google to turn the switch on and off. In case of internet being down there's a little button to push to turn it on and off manually.

Pretty good plug

I found that it is not compatible with a 5G network, but since my router has dual bands, I was able to use it. It shows up on my network as an open device so I had security concerns. I tried to connect to it and could not so I think it is just a glitch - probably due to me trying to set it up on a 5G network. Not much documentation. I had to reset one of the two plugs I use as it disconnected itself from my network. It was one of the less expensive plugs and it works, but I may look closer at the other plugs if I need to buy more plugs.

Posted .It's difficult to determine the origin of the connection problem without basic troubleshooting. Many routers are dual band. The iSP6 needs to be set up on the 2.4 GHz network (not 5.0). If you forget to turn a light off in another room or don’t want to come home to a dark house, these are so helpful and convenient. If it were up to me every plug-in electronic in my house would be attached to a smart plug.

The device works well and i use it to turn off my son's TV ;). When he does not do is HomeWork simple command on Siri Turn TV Off! You can do it on the watch or the app or any apple device that has Siri. Also through a laptop with the application it comes with.
