    Not too good and not too bad. It works with Siri for the most part but with Alexa it's horrible.

      If you are still experiencing problems with your Alexa products please follow these steps:
      1. Please check your iHome Control App to Ensure your plugs are connected (click on the "i", and make sure it says Connect to iHome Cloud).

      2. If not, please remove the smartplug from the outlet for 5 seconds and replace to reestablish cloud connection.
      3. Go to the Alexa App -- Menu -- Skills --search iHome
      4. Select iHome Smart Plug Control
      5. Disable Skill -- Disable Skill (again)
      6. Enable the skill
      7. Log in with your iHome Control credentials -- Authorize -- Done.
      8. Discover Devices (takes about 20 seconds).

      You should be all set. If your problem persists, please contact the Support Team at 1-800-288-2792. iHome

    Brought it home. Downloaded I home app as that app does the firmware updates. Home and home apps don't talk to each other. One says firmware update available. Other says firmware is up to date. Alexa could not connect. Returned it. Bought competitor product that connected easily and quickly.

    While working they are just as advertised but the servers have issues all the time it seems.

    Constant connectivity issues

    This thing becomes unresponsive constantly. I reached out to iHome once and they didn’t want to provide me with a unit that works. Their response is basically well.. just unplug it and plug it back in! Well I am getting sick of doing that several times per month for a product that should work! I wish I was still within the return period for this piece of junk. Save your money!!

    never did use, did not like and didnt realize not useful til got home with it , no value here menards and home depot better selection for electronic as such here

    Bought thinking it would work well with my iPhone but that wasn't the case. After trying to connect several times I finally gave up got a Belkin WeMo & it connected without any trouble.

    Worthless for Android

    Worked fine for the first three or four weeks. Then would not connect to WiFi. Contacted tech support. They repeated the installation instructions. Did that. They repeated. Did that. Several times. Doing the same thing over and over again obviously is giving the same results. Finally after much wasted time they acknowledged that there is a problem with their Android app, and that they will fix. Someday. Unfortunately, I won't be there to find out. I'm looking for a different product, and you should too if you use Android.

      It is unfortunate that you were not questioned first of all, which OS is on your device. The Control app works fine with all operating systems going back to 4.4. We are still working on the update for Android 7, and hope to release it before the Spring. Until then, we thank you for your patience. iHome

    This was by far the worse smart product ever. I have multiple Other smart plugs and things around the house and love them and the simplicity to use them. I had to download multiple apps for this one before i found the correct one. The instructions were horrible, the switch would not connect at all and then when it said it was connecting it would freeze and shut down the app. After multiple hours over a couple days and 3 separate people trying to mess with it I gave up and returned it for the WeMo one instead.

      Apparently, this consumer was trying to install the plug at the worst possible time. Connectivity to the iHome Cloud had been temporarily lost, and although the plugs were still operating within network and according to the rules that were created, a new installation was not possible at that time. If the consumer had called iHome Support, they would have been advised of the situation. We would have gladly asked for their patience as we corrected this issue. iHome

    Quit once and had to reboot

    Works great except I had to reboot it after it quit working once so far. Also had to leave it unpluged for a period of time before the reboot would work.

      We apologize for the inconvenience. Our latest firmware updates ensure that devices will gracefully recover in the event of any future cloud interruption. In the past, when SmartPlugs didn’t recover automatically, minor outages were frustrating. They often required you to physically address the issue yourselves. From now on these minor interruptions will barely be noticeable and should not require any work on your part. iHome

    Couldn’t set up with my android phone. I chose this one cause it was on sale. Gave 2 stars cause it might work well with iPhones.
