Its loud with good sound quality. In a medium sized room it easily over powers everything easily a hand radio. Its design isn't 100% like r2d2 but the lights are similar. Want something small, can fit in a Jacket pocket and charges quick but last days, this is your speaker.

You can plug it into a wall to charge it, as long as you have something that is USB compatible (USB wall charger). Another great feature is that you can charge it from your computer, while you use it to play music, or any audio, from your computer. You can plug into anything with a headphone jack, so it is quite versatile. One final note, If you are looking for something with bluetooth, this is not the speaker you are looking for.

I enjoy hooking it up as computer speakers when necessary as well as for mobile use via the AUX cable when you are close by and do not need to mess with blue-tooth pairing. The R2 design throws it right into the collectible space too.
