I had a Ihome charging system for previous Ipad and loved it. When I purchased new Ipad I had to buy a new charging system.i searched all over and found another one similar but I am very disappointed. The new one is not very compatible with my new Ipad and my Ipad keeps showing an error code. I have to check it often to see if it is still charging. I also miss having a remote, which my old one had.

I have had a few speaker/alarm docks before, mostly "higher end" models. This one is great as it looks great, and charges all my devices at once. Automatically syncs the time from my devices and its easy to switch between the two. Pretty decent sound out of this thing too.

I had a previous iHome product which I loved with the 30pin connector. I upgraded my iPhone and wanted to upgrade the iHome as well. To my surprise, I found the new iHome DOES NOT WORK WITH IPHONE/IPAD IN ANY TYPE OF CASE. I have both in the official apple cases which are pretty slim. The previous versions of the iHome worked great with my iphone 4S in a case. I am not going to take off my case every night to charge my phone. I returned the product and would not consider buying until they fix the problem

Worried that the iHome would sound awful, I bought this iHome just to test it and was going to return it if it did sound bad,before buying the Bose SoundDock Series 3 first. And much to my Surprise the iHome sounds great! Good, clear sound with decent bass. And did not have that "Cheap sound" I hate so bad.(i know most all reading this knows what i mean when i say "Cheap sound") Don't get me wrong, I'm sure the Bose probably does sound better, but I'm happy with the iHome. I'm glade i bought this first, I saved myself over $100!

Great charger n alarm clock . Volume is excellent loud . Radio station works well.
