Before ever hearing about the iRig there was one handing on the BestBuy wall that looked interesting. Price was very reasonable so I took a chance and bought it that day. Using it with my guitars, iPhone, and a Fender amp it has provided a great deal of fun and relaxation. Also it has helped pick up lead runs, chord patterns, and little things that might now have been noticed in previous times that a song has been heard. Seems to be durable yet that kind of thing takes time to really clarify for answering that question. If you buy it for fun, and follow the install steps I predict that you will enjoy this product

I bought this for my son since he likes to play guitar, bass, and ukulele in his room. Unfortunately the only applicable app for Android (he has an HTC1) is iRig Recorder so he can use that but none of the cool amp simulations.

This has made it possible to play while sitting in the same room with my sleeping wife. There's a little background noise, but produces great sound.

Couldn't get it to work through the speakers only through the headphones. Very limited effects available unless you buy them. Total waste of my money.

It really sounds like your plugged into an amp with headphones. Super easy to use and doesn’t disturb anyone

Bought this for practicing and learning guitar parts for my band. I use it primarily with Anytune Pro. The Amplitube sounds are noisy for the most part. Good quality construction overall

its what you would expect from a digital platform small enough to fit in your phone, but surprisingly decent sound, good enough for practicing or just jamming anyway. ;)

Even with a very limited knowledge of playing guitar, I had a lot of fun just playing around with this. I had no plans on purchasing one but just happened to see it posted as the Deal Of The Day for almost half off regular price. The paid app that unleashes the full potential was also on sale for half price, making this a definite impulse buy I do not regret. As much fun as I've had with this, it would be an even greater tool for someone who actually knows how to play.

Great device. Works with multiple apps on several apple devices such as iPhones and iPads. This is the one to go for.

Unit is useable but no wow factor. Thin wiring makes for quick wearing out of connections and cable breaks.

Lots of fun and really cool for its intended use. Do not confuse this for professional device.

It is more of a novelty than actually functional for performance but still a lot of fun to play around with. I would recommend it.
