    Getting a phone from best buy and the process to set it up was monumentally faster than when I've gone to a service provider directly where they try to get you to buy things you don't need. Loved my experience!

    I am ok with a good phone like the galaxy note 10 but needed extra help with getting it set up. The tech did a great job moving things along and set up my phone to start using it quickly. They explained everything in detail and handled all of serup pretty timely considering how busy they were.

    I love that Best Buy associates do the job of transferring data from old phone to new one. They're fast and efficient and explain what they're doing and what to expect once the transfer is finished. We've never had a problem when they do the transfer.

    Total Tech coverage is worth it! Gonzalo Briceno made the data transfer and initial guidance look easy. Gonzalo was especially cordial and understanding of my spotty knowledge. I am so thankful he was the one that helped me.

    Charlottesville tech Ben was excellent at setting up my phone. He made sure all my photos and contacts from my previous phone transferred, comparing the number of photos, sings, etc. Be applied the zagg protective screen. Everything was perfect!

    We came in and purchased a new phone for my wife. We also ordered the in store mobile setup. The guys at the store had a hiccup that actually was on Verizon's end but they were persistent and solved the issue. It was an all around successful experience.

    After ordering my new cell phone online, and including the in-store setup and support, I received no support from the store. I walk in the wireless area where three associates are standing around chatting with each other. After a couple minutes one of them finally asks if I need help, which I tell him that I am there to pickup a phone order and have them set it up, to include transferring data from my old phone. The associate then argued with me about transferring my data, saying that they do not do that on black friday, this was not friday, but saturday afternoon. I proceeded to tell him that the best buy's website said nothing about this and actually encouraged me to get an appointment for setting up my phone. He continued to argue with me and told me its "store policy" that they do not transfer data from an old phone during black friday. After going back and forth with him about this he basically told me that he would not setup my phone until Tuesday, when "black friday" is over, and to come back then. I even asked him if I could do the transfer, and he said no. I ended up leaving and backing everything to the cloud, which used a lot of data, and going back in the store, only to find the same three people standing around chatting with one another, and not helping customers. I tell him that I would like the phone and have backed everything up to the cloud. He then rushes through the setup.

    This is my first iphone and the transition from another operating platform was a little complicated. Bri was very knowledgeable and thorough in setting up my phone and also answered questions to help me get the most out of my phone.

    I purchased a screen protector for my phone, while I was in the store I got the screen protector installed on my phone. This type of customer service surprised me and just another way Best Buy does the extras for their customers

    Best Buy provides a great service when buying a new smart phone. Problems often come up and they know how to fix them. This service is the primary reason I go to Best Buy for our family's smart phone purchases.

    Took more than 2 hours To data transfer. Also for some reason they said my phone is not displaying for checkout and process was bit cumbersome as i had to go through multiple staff persons

    Very helpful and polite. We came when the store was closing and i didn’t even know it. They never rushed us. I had to return a smart watch and get a replacement. They took care of everything and had it delivered to my house.

    Two of your sales people were very helpful when I purchased my new phone. I am technologically impaired so they both had to do a lot of explaining and teaching but both of them were very kind and patient.

    I was informed phone was ready, it wasn't. And when I returned the 2nd time, they couldn't locate my phone. And then it wasn't properly set up. I had to return the following day to get my phone properly set up.

    She was able to help with part of the set-up and did contact Verizon to do some of it. However, not able to help to transfer Contacts (or anything else) from old to new phone ?

    Best Buy's customer support for setting up newly purchased cell phones is excellent. Not only was the rep able to transfer all information from the old phone to the new phone, she applied the new screen protector as well.

    I was leery of setting up my new iPhone 11 Pro. No problem. The crew at Best Buy had my new phone all set up in no time. They also installed a protective screen beautifully. I recommend using their service.

    The in store set up for my new Galaxy S10e was great. My old phone was an S7 so there were a fair number of differences. It didn't take much time, saved me a lot of hassle and allowed me to use my new phone at once. Best of all, it didn't cost me anything.

    The mobile phone staff did a great job of transferring the data from my old phone to a new Samsung phone. They were polite, informative and courteous as they did the transfer. Absolutely great!
