I purchased a new cell phone and Best Buy provided great customer service and support. They answered all my questions and showed me how to use it. They also transferred my contact information from my old phone.

After my purchase we ran into difficulty with my mobile phone set up. Best Buy support was amazing through the process and credited my account because of the hang up. No questions they just flat out did it.

My sales rep was amazing and very knowledgeable about Apple Products. He was setting up my new phone and ran into some problems. He was able fix the issues the next day.

I signed up for the free in store phone setup and I'm happy I did. There was a problem with my new Verizon line and they had to sit on the phone with them for 40 minutes to get it corrected. Very helpful.

I ended up not using this because I wanted to give the phone to my daughter on Christmas (and setting it up in the store would have deactivated her current phone), but Best Buy folks were helpful

Jacob knew what he was doing and took time for explanations and to answer my questions. He is definitely a "5 star" employee!
As for the phone itself, so far it hasn't been very good.

Great phone. Fantastic. Everything I'd wanted in a phone. My Pixel was a huge disappointment. I'm back to Android -- and that's where I'll stay.

I ordered two new phones and scheduled a Geek Squad appt with the purpose of having the data transferred from the old to new phones. Our appt was scheduled for 12 pm. We picked up the phones from customer service and went over to Geek Squad. We walked up and then an elderly white couple walked up. The agent asked who was next and we stated we were and that we had a 12 pm appt. He looked up and saw it was 12:10, then asked the elderly couple for their appt time. They didn't have one so he said he would set them up and be with us. The couple then began explaining their issue and he started answering their questions. This went on for 3 minutes and finally my mother said, excuse me but we have an appt. The couple apologized and said that we needed to be waited on, however the agent glared at us and said, no they can wait. I will finish with you. I then said, excuse you? He then turns back to me glaring and says what? I told him my mother simply stated we had an appt and that he had no reason to be rude towards her. I then asked for a manager who came over, apologized and got another agent. The new agent asked us what we needed. In less than 1 minute our case was resolved. The elderly couple apologized again to my mother and said we shouldn't been treated like that. We left the store and went our cell phone provider and our request was handled.
I informed Best Buy of this incident but never got a response. I was very disappointed with the customer service received.

Don't make the same mistake

I ordered the phone and received an email that it was ready. I made an appointment to transfer the data using the in-house specialists. When I arrived, they could not find the phone. I waited for about 30 minutes while they searched for the phone. When they finally found it, the tech raised concern when he said that he hoped he had a SIM card that would work. He then said it would be about an hour to transfer everything. I stressed that ALL of my pictures needed to transfer. When I returned, the tech told me that some of the Apps did not transfer and I would have to load them in later. He was busy with another customer making a sale and gave me both phones and said, see what didn't make it. Here I am standing in the middle of the store with two phones. I made sure all of my pics were there. I took screen shots of the old phone to go back to see what didn't load. What I didn't realize was none of my Samsung Notes transferred. This was a huge loss and I blame the tech. I called BB to see if they could reverse it but the girl that answered the phone said they were too busy to help me and I should return to the store. I was there for 2.5 hours the first time. The last time I got a new phone, they sent me home with instructions; at least everything transferred. I'll take the time to do it myself next time. BB should not have the sales associates doing the transfers; it should be two different sections or they should discontinue the service.

I actually called to see if it was a good time to pick up my new phone & have my old phone data transferred. The guys, after assuming it was complete, handed my phone back. It was still missing so much info. I had them try again & it still wasn't complete. I was then told about a feature on the phone where I could wirelessly do the complete transfer myself, at home. I did & it worked. This, as well as past experiences with BB, I've discovered the employees aren't all that knowledegable.
