I think it's great they offer set up but it's unneeded for most items.

We are so happy with the installation of our new TV and new sound bar. Brendan from the Goleta, CA, Best Buy was friendly, hard-working, and knowledgable. He seamlessly mounted our TV and hooked up the sound bar. Additionally, he configured the system to connect our DVR (cable box) and DVD player. And finally, he even went "old school" with us and figured out how to hook up our VCR to play old family videotapes! This was quite amazing!! Before Brendan left, he made sure that we understood how to work the new system and gave us his card with the clear message that we could call him anytime that we had a question. As you can see, we are very happy with the service that Brendan provided for us.

Employees are friendly and willing to assist with any problem you may have.

The Geek Squad was able to set up my Fitbit and show me several of the features the watch has. For some reason I could never get it installed at home. It was a good thing this was included with the purchase.

They were able to answer questions and was able to quickly setup the apple watch. Glad it was free because I never would have paid anyway. But it's good service that Bestbuy gave it anyway.

First off let me start by saying I dont do reviews in fact this review is probably one out of 5 ive done. I honestly dont know what to say other than It felt like a sales pitch.. I Make my appoint for my new hp spectre x360 2017 model. I basically set it up and windows was up and running, but I wanted someone to go over features and things. I ask them and they say, "we dont do that this is another class and it costs $50 for one on one time." My first reaction was are you kidding me? I just spend $1500 for a laptop and you wont help me? This wasn't my only issue. I then describe to them a problem I was having. The screen is very small on certain programs that I open. They then tell me most likely I have a virus and its $150 to run a scan from the repair specialist..? I just bought this laptop not even a week before I brought it in and havnt even used it. Im certain there is no viruses on this thing. Im to the point of returning the laptop and not doing business with bestbuy anymore. . This is certainly not something that I excepted.

Bought a Fitbit which included setup but the email notification didn't say you must set up an appointment separately. Looked at the fine print later and even that involved going to a link and said you make an appointment after pick up. Would be more convenient to make an appointment for when you pick up rather than make 2 trips. Service itself was very good.

The Geek Squad is very knowledgable. They offer a lot of help, suggestions, and are willing to help in any way to make it easy. I used the geek squad for help with set up of my Mac book.

Geek squad assistance most of us got that "do it yourself" mentality... but if you don't know you just don't know. Thanks for the help and 411 guys!!!

Geek Squad is the best with helping you set up your device. They are very knowledgable and will give you great advice.

The Employee knew what he was doing. Helped me and continued even though I was not understanding.

Definitely worth getting, needed help getting my go pro set up and they were definitely helpful!
