This definitely gets the job done and doesn’t use a lot of electricity. Easy to Use but wouldn’t recommend around small children

Warms a small room very well. I like the 2 settings 400 & 800 Watts. Not bulky

The heater didn't work all the time. Sometimes it did not turn on at all. Sometimes it turned on, but after it turned off, it never turned on again (thermostat did not work). I had to return it.

Died in less than a year

I really liked this little heater when I bought it: it was completely quiet and I liked having a choice between the lower heat at 400W and the higher heat at 800W. I mostly used it just outside my bathroom when I was taking a shower, and sometimes used it to heat up the bedroom when I woke up, before the central heat kicked on, or for a little while before I went to bed. Well, today it died completely after about 10 months. I just bought it in late January 2018. Although it has a 3-year warranty from Optimus, you have to pay a $15 fee AND pay for return shipping to use the warranty. Given the weight of the heater, it would cost me as much as I had paid for it (on sale) or even more to use the warranty and get a repaired or new crummy replacement than just to buy a new heater from a different and better company. And on the topic of the 3-year warranty, the Optimus website says they may "repair or replace" a ceramic heater within the first year--and then just send you a refurbished heater in the 2nd or 3rd year of the warranty. This is one of the worst warranties I've ever seen and I bet no one ever bothers to send these lousy heaters back. I should have paid more attention to the many negative reviews on a different, major online retailer's website, many of which noted it only lasted a few months or so. I'll never buy another Optimus heater! BestBuy should stop carrying this terrible brand!
