I bought this for my daughter. Very fast slick design super light and super expensive as every apple is in comparison to an equivalent pc. But if you bite the price bullet you have a laptop for the next 5 years at least. If you are an iphone user then this is the deal it sinks with your iphone facetimes does the best photo and video editing and you need to b carefull not to lose it because the grow leggs at school common areas. I bought this for my 2011 macbook pro. It fits great ,except for the back. Maybe the newer cases were designed for newer macbooks, the bottom back is only half way covered. Maybe that's how it supposed to be. Overall happy with the purchase especially the color, love this compared to my old incase black color .

This case fits nicely on the computer while still keeping it thin. It’s great for keeping away scratches but if you drop it too hard it will break. The case itself isn’t very secure on the computer. It slides off a lot. I would buy it again for a cheaper price.

a case is a case, you just cant go wrong with it. I would not recommend after market brand (stuff you buy online). In my opinion they are not approved by the manufactures. you pay a little more but you get what you pay for. although, it does not hurt to find the same brand at a cheaper price. remember, Best Buy does price match.

This is lightweight and pretty, not bulky but still has protection for Mac air.

My old Mac was slowing down. I love my new Mac. Easy to use and things transferred over easily.

Since 2012, this is the third shield case that I have bought to protect my MacBook Pro. Why three you may ask? The plastic clips on the top corners break with wear and tear over time. I realize many want what is the newest version but don't have the money for a new one so I try to take care of this one with the hardshell shield cases.
