This game took what was good about the first Injustice and improved upon it. If you like fighting games, and you like DC, this is the game for you. The story continues from the first game and does a great job at it! The motion capture and facial animations are top notch along with the polished controls. There are multiple new fighters as well as mechanics such as the upgrades you can unlock from playing the game. The online can put up a real challenge if you're looking for that as well. I'd recommend this for any DC fan if they are into fighting games.

One of the best superhero fighting games to date!

Ok here my review of Injustice 2! I think it awesome, you can customizing your hero or villain with random gear you get from wining or losing a fight, so even if you suck at fighting games you still win because not only does that gear change the look of your fighter but it also change there states, let say you want do more damage when doing light attacks well if you a helmet that add 23 DP, your attacks then you do more damage so in way you can become a better fighter without learning some the hard combat combos! But if you are a hard core player that want to play fair, well you can turn those states off and play fair like the pro you are. Now getting to the story I have not play that much, but so far it does have some good acting from the Batman himself Kevin Conroy who yet again is the best Batman out there! and on top that it follows the event after of what Superman has done to Earth. With him taking over the government and trying to rule everyone under his iron fist, because what joker made him do. But i'm not going to much into, like I said I only played a little, but not a lot. Now let's talk about combat in witch it is a lot better then the last game, it use the same engine Mortal Combat X and my god it show it has amazing graphics and sound design, but what stand out is that the combat, and it is amazing if enjoy Mortal Kombat X combat then you know what your getting into with you Basic Light to Heavy Attacks and your black and grapple with some advance combos, so usual what with a fighting game. But what is the best part of the game that make a return from the original is there own fatalities that is called Super Moves! but what make these better is that you can use the at anytime of fight, along as you feel the meter up and it can up fast if your getting your butt hand to you so it good use if you need last minute thing for doing massif damage to the other fighter, or you can also use the meter as a wager for when you black another fighter attack you do kinda of a wager one who has more in there meter, and who every wins get more of there health back and the loser get a little health knock off! But that pretty much all I can say about this game other then it's one of the best superhero game to date!

    Difficult But Satisfying

If you've played NetherRealm Studios games in the past, like Mortal Kombat X(L) and the first Injustice game, you'll know what to expect---quality games with in-depth controls and a great story. Fighting games are always hard to master, with this one in particular. To "get good" at this game, you'll need to use your brain. Button mashing won't get you places, not even through the story! I am currently playing on medium (default) and it's still very difficult for me, and I'd consider myself half-decent at fighting games. Memorizing basic combos and special moves will take some effort, but your effort will not go unrewarded. Online is fun, but get used to losing a lot of you're like me. There are some people online who are insanely good. There are very little "bad" players online in my opinion. People generally know some basic combos to get by. It's frustrating losing often to people online AND to CPUs in the story mode, but not in a way that makes you want to throw your controller across the room. It's more like a frustrated-laughter feeling because you know you need to get better in order to progress, and getting better is possible through time and practice. Highly recommend getting this and also picking up the previous Injustice game if you haven't played it already.

Love all the differnt modes. Between story mode, online and Multiverse it has amazing replay value. The core game play is on point as usual for Nether Relm studios. But the story line is amazing which is rare for a fighting game. And multiverse mode with the different versions of heroes is great. A must have for any DC fan.

This game has good graphics and the best Story Mode I have seen from a fighting game. The mechanics for cancel moves can leave beginners a little bewildered but are great for those who want options in executing their combos. This game did not recieve 5 stars because the roster is small for a full priced game and i dont give 100% to games with microtransactions or the need to pay additional money to have a full complete experience.

I've enjoyed playing this game for dozens of hours. The character special moves are different enough that you can try out different styles. Plus, the combos are relatively easy to master with some practice. The story mode has options so you can replay the story mode multiple times.

This game is unquestioningly the best fighting game I've ever played; the amount of content is staggering and NRS managed to improve the game in basically every way from the original. Animation and sound design are truly superb (with some of the best facial animation ever seen), super moves are better than ever and the character list is great and well balanced. The equipment system adds a RPG like depth and the multiverse is a limitless source of content and loot seeking. On top of that it has the best story mode of any fighting game yet, surpassing Injustice and MK9. I highly recommend this game.

The game play is fast and fun, it has a learning curve but if mastered is a blast. Story is great for a fighting game based on comics. +Story +Plenty of characters +Graphics (not all characters, ex: Black Canary looks cross-eyed) -Dividing paths feel forced -Some characters are distracting in the story, with nothing more than "Hey I know you, lets fight" cameo.

This is the best fighting game from the developers of Mortal Kombat series, Nether Realm. The game play is fun, even though the CPU seems to cheat with "more than favorable" wins for transition change hit chance. The story mode is like Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice in how epic it is and also how hard it is to follow the story. In the end it's enjoyable but online play is frustrating due to the skill gap being so large. "Good" players will always win and make you just grind the Multiverse for costumes.

This game is like Injustice 1, but everything is better. There are new characters, new game modes, armor customization, new story, better graphics, and better controls. Very fun to play with friends.

I have yet to indulge myself in online play. Them online peeps are monsters. But the story in this game was really fun! My wife stopped by every once in a while to watch it. Character customization is there... what else...it has batman...and robin...and flash.... not spiderman, kinda upset about that.

Just as enjoyable as the first, with better graphics and story. My son loves pummeling me into orbit as Superman, and I have to admit the Green Lantern power move is a spectacle to behold.

Not as varied as Mortal Kombat X, at first, but definitely complex and entertaining. Instead of getting 3 movesets per character, everyone has the same basic button-commands but each character has a completely different "style" -- brute-force, distance, athletic, superpowered, etc. At first, if you put the difficulty too high, it might seem impossible -- the "Computer" opponent is relentless with combos. But if you lower the difficulty and start to get used to different characters and stringing-together different combos, you'll start to unlock items. The items not only boost your character stats, but there are also "ability" slots. It's almost like the more you play the more depth and variation you unlock from the game. Mortal Kombat X was almost the opposite -- everything unlocked from the beginning, basically, so playing more was about just getting more skilled at the existing game. This is almost like you get more skilled side-by-side with the game unfolding more and more features. That's a pretty neat aspect, I think. And the story-mode is actually very worthwhile -- again, though, lower the difficulty or you'll get real annoyed real quickly -- and it forces you to use many different characters. It's like 3 hours of cutscenes, and probably another 3-6 hours of game time, depending on how good you are. It's a good way to force you to use the other characters, though, not just getting stuck on one play style, and the motion capture they did is pretty remarkable sometimes.
