    The movie is meh, the two first movies is best, 3 and 4 is meh

    I have enjoyed this franchise from the beginning and am glad they continued the series with this prequel. There are some great scares and some really creepy moments. I love Lin Shaye and am happy to see her back in the role on a new adventure. This entry follows the formula of the series and relies too heavily on jump scares, but if you know what to expect going in - I think you will enjoy it. Check it out.

    A nice addition to the Insidious franchise but not as good as any of the previous installments. I would only get this movie to complete your collection.

    Again the clock is turned back before Elise's death to a time right before her intervention with the first movie. I liked how they made each of the previous movies have a connection with this one. Things that we had seen in the first move with a door opening now make more sense. I enjoyed the thrilling moments where you jumped out of your seat, but I also liked the fact there is not a lot of blood and gore in these movies. If you liked the first three you will enjoy this one too.
