My Insignia™ - 43" Class (42.5" Diag.) - LED - 2160p - Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV - Roku TV - Black TV was a steal. I got it as a returned bargain, a store demo/marketing TV with annoying popups that I was able to remove in the settings. It's everything I thought it would be, probably an equivalent of my 49" Vizio SmartCast 4K Ultra that I bought last Black Friday. This one came cheaper by almost a $100. To be honest, I'd buy this TV even if it wasn't the odd opportunity of a bargain. It is worth all of that.

Shipping is super fast. Roku works well. Have only short term experience but picture quality seems pretty good for the money. Not as good as the Sanyo i also recenlty purchased ( larger tv). I notice the dark scenes are not handled as well. Sound in default mode must have some serious surround effects because voices drop out - played with the modes and is much improved voice. The only real issue i have had is with damage and failure. first unit arrived in an immaculate box but a badly damaged screen. hard to figure that one unless it was dropped. Best Buy sent a replacement out almost overnight. The company is very good to work with. Replacement unit has intermittent screen jumping. Repair man comes next week.

I have always been a fan of Insignia TV's and Rokus, but making my first 4K TV purchase an Insignia with Roku could not have been better. To begin, this is a great price for a 4K TV, then throw in the equivalent of a Roku 4 (approx $125) and you have an amazing product at a fantastic price.

I would like to start with a disclaimer that my old tv was really old so almost anything would be amazing compared to it! But so far I have no complaints about this tv. I really like the ruku built into it...it is nice to be able to watch netflix, hulu, etc all right from the tv and not have to switch over to the xbox or something else to get to those apps. We did end up buying a sound bar after owning for about a week as the music would be really loud and we couldn't hear the people talking, granted it could be something that maybe could have been fixed in advanced settings, but we couldn't figure it out...so the sound bar has worked great for us. Great picture though and has a lot of USB outputs, etc to plug everything in. Also was a great price for what we got...can't go wrong with this tv really!

A lot of TV for the price

On the positive side, I got a ton of features in a low-priced television. It's 4K, it's "smart" and it's really bigger than I need (but just what I want). It was pretty easy to set up. Those are the things I wanted, and those are what I got, so that's all very satisfying. The antenna tuner is actually a big improvement over my last one, which was a pleasant surprise. If it dies on me prematurely, however, all scores are cancelled (voice of experience). So far so good. The main drawbacks are associated with the "smart" applications. The first thing I notice is that Roku, the "smart" element, is semi-spammy, with advertisements appearing on my interface screen, which is highly uncool for something I already paid for. Furthermore, it doesn't appear that you can edit your antenna TV channels, which is pretty ridiculous. The onboard Roku Media Player is also really limited in terms of formats that it will play, which is a deep cut into its convenience. In fact, customization is really lacking in areas where it should be de rigeur by now. I would like to custom label my inputs - can't. I'd like to customize the 4 big buttons (Netflix, HBOnow, GooglePlay and Sling) at the bottom to shortcut functions I actually use, rather than functions who've paid consideration to Roku. I realize that I'm not exactly the ideal customer, given my loathing for being hustled and conned, but it's fairly disturbing how "smart" has come to mean "built-in shopping mall." Evidently you're supposed to be able to "cast" you PC screen to the TV, but the information provided on that is inadequate. While I'm very happy with what's THERE, these are some irksome omissions that regularly draw attention to themselves. Pretty much all of my negatives are related to how Roku makes things work, rather than the TV itself. If you're used to the hustle and con of smart phones, most of this will be barely noticeable to you. But if you're a little bit old school and believe that things should just work right, Roku might leave you frustrated.

Wanted something that we could use in the basement without needing another cable box. With the built in ROKU this sounded like the ticket. This is great. Picture, features. Has an Ethernet jack AND AC wireless. Couldn't be happier. Have bought a 2nd one.

Great picture and love the ease of us, very happy with the TV. Only think I would note is the location of the volume button(s) on the side of the remote. I keep pressing it when I am holding the remote left handed.

I bought the t.v. when it was on sale, and I'm glad I did. It has a good picture not great, you do have to adjust some of the settings to get the best picture out of it, but when you do, you will be happy with it. Having Roku built in put it over the top for me.

I bought this 4K Roku tv for my bedroom and I couldn't be happier with it. It has an awesome picture especially with 4K content!! The built in Roku is super convenient as well. I would highly recommend this tv, especially at its price point.

I have no doubt there are better UHDTVs out there. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better one for the money, though. 43" is perfect for my needs - I also have a projector, and any larger would get in the way of my screen area. This one is primarily for gaming and streaming services. Due to my internet speed and local devices I haven't been able to see what this can do when it has a true 4K source, but it upscales the 1080 content I can send it beautifully. There were 2 issues I read of people having prior to my purchase (other than a couple who seemed to have gotten "lemons"). 1) The remote - this is my third Roku device, so maybe I'm just used to their small size. I had no issues with the supplied remote, but only used it briefly until passing duties off on a Logitech Harmony anyway. 2) Washed out picture if not in "the sweet spot" - I tend to sit about 45° off center while viewing / gaming and the picture is fine. Yes, I can see gradients in dark areas when I'm that far off center, but it's not distracting to me. If I DO sit close to center (on the couch instead of my recliner), the color saturation, contrast, and overall picture fidelity is hugely better - near perfect from what I can tell. The only thing I'd really like is a bit more control over color tuning, but overall it's a great set for the price. Having Roku built in is a great feature for me - both bedroom TVs have Roku 3's connected, and this interface is essentially identical. Adding a device to the existing account couldn't have been easier.

The 4k picture is nice, but not as warm as my plasma TV, still colors are good and picture is sharp. The roku processor in this TV is very good, very fast and very little buffering. I would buy this TV again.

Picked this up on sale for $299. No other 4K TVs come close in price. Roku is an added bonus without having a separate box and connecting cables. Easy to set up and has been working flawlessly.
