Purchased and still haven’t been able to hook up due to getting specific hardware! Buyer beware: Best Buy return policy sucks so this have only 15 days to return/exchange or have any help with delivery damage. Thought I purchased this from Home Depot with a 90-day policy... unfortunately, not. Now to find out it’s also $50 cheaper. I feel like I bought a scratch and dent headache for wayyy too much money and they won’t do anything about it.

I had for 7 years another brand and I LOVED IT. Forced to buy a new one and a different brand, since that one was discontinued I decided after some research on this Insignia. I will list everything I don't like about this machine. 1. Is wider by 1 inch and the washing capacity listed at 1.6 C FT is smaller, can you believe it? 2. It takes way less water, one load the largest is smaller than previous machine and my washing time longer. 12 inch inside is not filled with water, I wanted to add manually but it won't work and I had to let the water out 3. It has one hose for hot water one for cold water, I have to watch when it rinses since it won't take hot water, it will stop working. 4. It doesn't wash the clothes as well as previous machine, they don't come as clean, I am using the same (the best german) detergent. For me, the test is the kitchen towels. 5. The drain hose is fixed, when is done washing I have to play with that drain hose up and down in order to get all the water out, since I don't want to store it in the closet with water in it. If you live in a building apartment and use a closet to store it, like I do, 1 inch means a lot. I also have to be very careful since being one inch wider makes a huge difference where I am storing it, with the fixed drain hose attached is actually 2 inch wider. It looks well build, for this I gave it 2 stars but has some very important shortcomings , in my opinion, it doesn't make it better as function just better looking. Sadly I didn't pay attention at return details as being only 15 days and I am stock with this failure of a portable washer. I read 30 days, but is for different products, major appliances is only 15 days, remember. If you never had a portable machine or a better one to relate too, this might work. Remember you need 23 inch wide storage space, add one inch at least for the fixed drain hose.

Pros: Washed my laundry well. Cons: 1. Doesn't have "casters" (which would allow easy movement to electrical/water/drainage source.) Only has 2 "wheels" on back [NOT 360 DEGREE MOVEMENT "CASTERS" - only FORWARD AND BACKWARD MOVEMENT POSSIBLE.). Biggest problem with this is the 70 lb washer has to be lifted to 45 degree angle to engage the roller wheels. Too heavy for me to move the machine. 2. Doesn't require extra purchase of water hoses as stated by Best Buy. Has all the hoses needed already. 3. Would not use Best Buy installers again. They were in such a rush, they broke plastic parts of the machine before it was even hooked up!

I received this washing machine last week via shipping to home. I set up the machine using the instruction manual. It said to do a test wash where the setting has to be rinse/spin; I set it according to the instructions and pressed the start/pause button but nothing happened and it displayed E1. I did an actual wash with a large load displaying a timer of 44 minutes; first was wash setting and the water properly dispensed into the machine and washed the load but when it came time to rinse at 23 minutes it didn't do anything and again displayed E1. I contacted Best Buy and Insignia (which just reroutes to Best Buy) and will get a replacement shipped/this one picked up but in the meantime if anyone has ideas as to how this could be fixed it would be great.

Doesn't have casters as advertised. Not available in store so has to be shipped. Have received two badly dented. Appears to wash properly.

After the 2 day shipping got it here weeks later, the box was all trashed but it looked intact. I live out in the AK bush, so after getting it back to my house which was an all day affair, I unboxed it and found plastic at the bottom of the tub. Upon further inspection, it came off the ring on the top of the tub. It works still, but i would definitely want to return it if I didn't live 170 miles from town.
