If you're looking for 12 cups and wanting to keep it hot, buy anyone but this model! The carafe and lid are not made properly. It spits out the coffee slow and makes a mess with splashing. When you are finished using the coffee, your hand does not fit into the mouth of the pot in order to clean it! I brought this item back. I suggest making sure whatever brand you buy has a wide enough pouring area and the room to fit your hand in for cleaning.

Works well. My only negative issue right now is that it is a little awkward trying to fill the reserve with a pot full of water. Have to be careful to keep from ending up with water all over the counter. Keeps coffee warm, no need to buy paper filters, overall very good product.

I purchased this coffee maker because my old Krups coffee maker with a stainless steel carafe finally gave out after 15 years of use. This Insignia coffee maker did not disappoint. It works great, and keeps coffee hot without continuing to "cook" it in order to keep it hot. It is easy to use and even has a timer if you would prefer to prepare your coffee ahead of time. This coffee maker is a good value compared to other brands with similar features.

The appearance on this coffee maker is great, and after 2 months of use the stainless steel looks brand new. I have two big gripes about this though: - once the coffee is brewed, the carafe is not heated on the burner at all. This means the insulation on the carafe itself is the only thing maintaining heat, and unfortunately it doesnt do a great job. Any other coffee pot I owned could regulate heat on the burner for hours. With this you get about 30-45 minutes until the temperature starts dropping, and it's a fast drop. I typically end up making two small brews in the morning instead of one, which obviously is not ideal. - the other issue is a strange one, and I'm not sure if it's a defect on my particular maker - the measurements of the water reserve are completely incorrect. 24 ounces of water = 3 cups indicated in the reserve 48 ounces = 9 cups indicated in the reserve ???

Pros: Brews fast and keeps coffee hot and fresh for 2 hours or more - great for holidays! Nice looking, simple and understated. Cons: Carafe top design is poor so that brewing coffee starts to spill over the sides before the carafe is full - VERY annoying. Brewing 8 cups vice 10 seems to prevent this, but why should I have to do that? Like so many coffee makers, space to fill reservoir is very limited.

Have been using it for about a month and so far so good! I like the self-timer option that lets you wake up to a pot of coffee in the morning. I prefer using disposable paper filters to make clean-up easier. I got it when it was the Deal of the Day for $29.99 so it was a steal, especially with the thermal carafe that keeps the coffee warm; otherwise the retail price is too expensive in my opinion.

It makes ok coffee. It heats up ok. So, it’s ok. It doesn’t feel particularly solid, and the filter holder actually broke, as the spring and depression valve that makes coffee flow directly into the pot, broke. Without this, the coffee sprays all over the place. I’m not sure why it broke after 3 months, but I can say that Best Buy stood up for the manufacturer’s 12 month warranty and is replacing it, no questions asked. I have to wait on it, as it’s out of stock, but I’m willing to give it another chance before giving up on the model.

Great tasting coffee which stays hot in the carafe. Simple to use and clean. Enough said. Oh and great value on the deal of the day!!

Works great, makes great coffee. I upgraded from an old basic coffee maker that didn't even have a timer. I wanted an insulated carafe so when I saw this one on sale it seemed like a good choice, and it was. It's so nice to have a timer that lets me get my coffee prepared the night before, and have it ready when I wake up. And with the carafe it stays hot without getting scorched. I'm very pleased with my purchase!

Works as expected. The thermal carafe makes it more functional for a longer period of time without unused coffee waste.

Makes good coffee but had some trouble getting the coffee to pour without spilling.

Product arrived nicely packaged with no dents, etc. It worked as promised and was easy to use. This product was also easy to clean and compact enough to store until further use. We will only be using it for guests as there is only one coffee drinker in the household an he only drinks 2 cups per day.

Was a gift for my dad. He likes to make a pot of coffee and drink it over the course of the day, so a thermal carafe is a must. It's a basic coffee maker, but works fine. The only criticism is that the coffee comes out in a trickle, when you try to pour it from the carafe.

Thermal carafe coffee pot. The coffee keeps hot for about half of a day, which I think is great. NO burned coffee taste and smell, just as fresh as when I made it. Love this coffeepot

Keep coffee war for 2 to 3 hours. Which is good for me. The only downside to this coffee maker is the pour spout. It does not pour in a close steam. It makes a mess if you hold it to high over the cup.

This pot keeps coffee hot and tasty all day. It's quick and efficient. This is my 1st re-useable filter and it's great.

Fantastic easy to use Coffee Pot. The stainless steel looks great alongside my appliances in the kitchen.
