Tight seal

Doors don’t seal shut

That’s when we realize that the door did not tightly shut close. We had it replaced. When they pulled the second one off the truck, the delivery guy noticed that it was damage on the door as well. We looked the look, but will be buying another brand.

Item works as intended

An experience horrible overall experience

Sure I did not pick up an extended protection plan. I mean it had great reviews and the manufacturer protected it for a year. Well of course it broke a little after the year so I was expecting to have to spend som to have it fixed. Well call Best Buy to send someone to fix it and they quoted that it couldn’t be fixed by them and that it would cost $1,000-1,200 to fix. Obviously I did not have it fixed because I only paid $800 new for it!!! I have not moved the refrigerator since Best Buy places it in my house on delivery so there is no reason that it should be totaled in a year and a few months. This experience makes me never want to pick up anything from Best Buy again.

WiFi doesn't work

But, the app doesn't work. Cheap BB private label freezer

Unacceptable turn of events

I only bought this fridge because of such feature and was not provided any options about it. UNACCEPTABLE!

This thing is great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read all the reviews on Best Buy's website before I purchased this machine and I truly appreciate everyone sharing their opinion. We purchased this machine to replace a fridge/freezer in our garage that was dying. We did not need another one, as we have a commercial grade freezer in the garage that we barely fill. Having the flexibility to convert the entire machine into a refrigerator was a made reason why we purchased this model. It works like a charm and I have yet to have any problems after 7 months. We do not use the App based on the reviews we read online. Honestly, I don't know why I would need to use it and none of our other appliances have an App so I don't feel like I'm missing out by not using it. If I had a minor compliant, it would be the middle shelf is not long enough to store s fridge case of soda, the door won't close properly. Otherwise, this is a great purchase, especially if you get it on sale.

We got a useless pile of coolish metal
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We've had this freezer less than a week and twice already it has arbitrarily reset itself from FREEZER to Refrigerator mode. When I went downstairs to check it this morning, the temp on my Insignia app registered 16 Degrees which was higher than I wanted so I checked inside and it was a balmy 38 degrees inside. The app was wrong and I could not get the unit to switch back to Freezer mode for several minutes. I finally got it to say it was in freezer mode and went to work. When I got home, things were still thawing inside and the temperature was still right at 40 degrees. And then we contacted the inept customer service who couldn't answer any of our questions, hung up on us 3 times, and continually put us on hold. Our time on the phone was well over 4 hours. Ridiculous.

Question on the freezer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It was delivered today, Why does the instructions say wait 10 hours before plugging it in but your delivery guy plugged it in as soon as he dropped it off. It’s very nice looking. After I see if it works I’ll leave a review.
