This is a good tv for a spare bedroom easy to hook up and good quality

small, compact...doesn't take up much space...good picture...easy set up and use..good for the price..

Great little TV with good picture and ease of operation, but HORRENDOUS sound quality. I don't think you can make this have any quality sound without adding additional speakers.

The TV set up process was great. It selected all of the cable channels and selected the appropriate screen formats for 4:3 and 16:9. I would give the TV a rating of 4 or 5 stars, especially considering the price. However, the remote didn't work properly: 1) I punched in the channel number on the remote and the TV would not go to the channel typed for many of the channels. 2) The previous channel button on the remote would not go back to the previous channel viewed. 3) If I entered a channel number greater than 100, it would go to a channel in the double digits, instead. 4) Requesting channels from 3 to 8 on the remote would result in the TV trying to change channels; but, it would just return to the channel that it was on before the command from the remote was entered. I tried many things (new batteries in the remote, reset TV, reset remote, rescanned channels, etc.) and worked with the Geek Squad to try to fix this problem, but nothing worked. The only way to get to different channels was to use the channel up and down buttons. So, I took the TV back and exchanged it for another one. However, the new replacement had the same problems. So, I ended up taking that one back also; and then, I bought a Samsung and had no problems. After, returning the Insignia TV, I looked at the reviews of people who rated this product as poor. I found 2 other people who had the same problem with the remote. I would have to give the remote a rating of 0. Hence, I rated the TV as poor also. Too bad that such a great product was ruined by a remote control problem!

Gives me a chance to use my Roku and catch up on shows while crafting.

I originally purchased a Samsung and had trouble right away with picture. Took back to Best Buy and they were out of Samsung. The person suggested the Insignia as he swore it was as good as Samsung and was also $50.00 cheaper. Took him up, took home and in minutes I had a beautiful picture with NO adjustments needed. Will always stick to Insignia in future for all my new TV's.

This is good for my teen's first tv in his room, and nice picture too.

Got this tv for a bedroom, very impressed with the picture quality.

I own more than one and I am very happy with the reception. Unfortunately, I had bought the same one a year earlier and was waiting for the kitchen TV to die, but it lasted longer than I had expected, so by the time I opened the box and set it up, there was a color problem and ended up paying the same price twice. I learned my lesson regarding buying in advance.

This 19 inch LED TV meets my needs. I recommend it for small rooms.

Excellent HD TV on top of the corner of my L-shaped bar in rec-room.

This was a good replacement tv. The sound is a little off. I have adjusted the sound but it will go up and down on its own. Does this very quickly so there really is no way to fix this. Kind of a tinny sound, but does stop.
